Food: We ordered the steak and the pulled pork tacos, out of the two we prefer the steak more. The pulled pork has a more gamey taste that did not sit well with me. The taco shell is quite nice and crispy albeit oiler than I would have liked. Unfortunately both taco fillings are terribly underseasoned. They all felt like they lacked something to tie the flavours together. I added liberal amounts of hot sauce hoping that it will help to elevate the flavours but sadly it did not. Each serving is 5 tacos for 2000 plus yen, which is not cheap. Each taco is not very big so if youâre dining in groups, you would likely order 1 plate each, so the bill adds up quickly.
Objectively it is cheaper than what I would have gotten back home, but what I paid for back home was also way more delicious, flavourful and hits the spot. It would be expensive but you get what youâre paying for.
This place however, did not hit the spot at all. Which makes the price point steep. We all know sometimes itâs ok if the food is expensive if it is delicious. This place isnât a place I will recommend or come back to, itâs too expensive for under seasoned food that did not hit the spot. I wasnât satiated when I finished the meal and just felt disappointed.
Service: Went there on a weekend so understandably it was a little crowded so service was a little curt. Nothing out of the ordinary nor special. They donât speak English and the menu is in Japanese but itâs okay, Google translate can solve 90% of your communication problems.
Atmosphere: it was a lake facing location so it was actually quite nice, a pity the food did not live up to expectations. You can still get the same view if you just stood outside on the beach instead of eating in.
Conclusion: There are much cheaper and more delicious food to eat in the area. As a taco lover who has tried many tacos, this place is not worth your yen and...

I hope this review is helpful feedback for the owners:
Got the pork tacos. I thought the portion size was reasonable for the money. Certainly not cheap, but in line with expectations.
However, the pork was too fatty for me (and I like fatty meat) and didnât really have that much flavour. I feel I might have enjoyed the other filling options more perhaps.
Also the tacos disintegrated quickly because the filling was way too wet. This always frustrates me; Iâd much prefer dryer ingredients and sauces to add moisture and flavour.
Staff were perfectly nice. The lake-facing counter we sat at had power sockets which was a nice touch.
The music was way too loud, which stopped us being able to relax and enjoy being there. Perhaps in the evening itâs fine?
I spend a lot of time in Yamanashi and love supporting new eateries and cafes in the area. I was hoping this would become a regular spot for me, but unfortunately I donât really feel the need to return at the moment. I might give it another chance in...
