Konjac noodles are a revelation when they’re made in the arduous way that Afuri Fine Ramen as developed — a part of their brand mission to provide a healthier alternative on all fronts to their ramen. A controversial move for ramen purists in Japan but one that has seen may flock all-the-same.
These noods are made by settling part of the ramen stock (vegan option available) into the gelatin that is pressed out into the konjac “dough”. The result is the initially the same firm bite you’d get from a full flour ramen noodle but followed up with almost a chewy pop like a milk tea pearl that results in a slight umami hit.

The meat (I think pork belly) is yummy too!
Recently they had special draft beer which was also good.
There is often a line here, but when I have been it goes quick.
A must try if you like Yuzu!!
UPDATE: Recently went back and they had the...
