Fantastic bakery that I discovered while on the path towards the Yokohama Yamate Western Houses. I tried the hot dog, which was German style with a sausage, sauerkraut, and mustard seed, in a short baguette style bread. Also, the Baguette au chocolat. Was absolutely delicious. The Japanese are masters of not adding too much sugar to pastries. Pleasant chocolate bits on top with gooey chocolate fudge inside. Their croissants looked gorgeous, picture perfect. Another fantastic bakery in the Ishikawacho area! This is our go-to spot whenever we’re craving authentic French pastries—the quality is top-notch. They even make Galette des Rois in January, which requires a pre-order about a month in advance. We’re so grateful to enjoy true French-style baking right here in Japan.

We lined up about 5 minutes before opening on a Tuesday morning. So we didn’t have to wait much more than 20 minutes.

The croissants were flaky, moist and nice fillings. The Quattro Cheese bread was deliciously gooey and complex salty. The mushroom bread didn’t have enough flavor for me. I liked the chili on the dog.

Definitely would go again...
