I ordered the Cullen Skink. It was rather amazing. The server asked if I wanted chips or bread. I replied chips. I got no chips. The two other ppl who ordered this received sides. I’m not sure where the miscommunication was. The mead ale was delicious. I ordered chips because I received none, but was hungry so I said nevermind and ordered fish and chips. They don’t serve mushy peas, just so you know, in case you’re used to that.
If you want scotch eggs or pork scratching, order early as they run out fast. This happens elsewhere even in British restaurants in Malaysia, as an example. It’s not only a Japan thing, though this is the only Scottish restaurant in the whole of Japan.
Cultural note: Like most Japanese restaurants or businesses, be prepared to be asked to go outside if you want to talk on your phone. You can talk as loud and and as long as you want if you’re talking to an actual person, but not on the phone.
They have a very decent selection of whisky and quite a few types of brews and gins.
This place is definitely worth a try! The picture shows Cullen Skink and a mead ale from a local...

The restaurant is located in Isezaki-cho, on "Nora Neko Street. They always have 200 kinds of drinks on hand. It offers a wide variety of whiskeys, but the atmosphere is more casual than authentic, making it easy for first-timers to enter. The bartenders (staff) are casual and not overbearing. The whiskey menu is served separately. You can compare whiskies. There is no limit to the number of drinks you can order, so you can order as many as you can drink. I compared three kinds of whisky, but you need to remember which whisky is which when it is served because they do not write the name of the whisky on the coaster, which is sometimes seen in other restaurants. I did not order this time because it was late, but I heard that the food is also authentic and delicious. Next time I will visit during dinner time. No smoking in...

Although the chips are American style fries rather than chip shop chips. The Scotch Egg and fish pie are incredible. Great selection of Scottish beer and whisky. I’ll be making this a regular stop while I’m...
