Great place to rest to wait for a train or bus at Yufuin after walking the street and sampling all the food, local products and souvenir stores. This might be related to another Milch store further out from the station which sells German style cheesecake and pudding, but I'm here for the donut which did not dissapoint. It's cake style donut which is different the fluffy American donut.

This is one of the best shops I have ever gone to. We tried the Kaise Pudding, Kase Kuchen (cold), hot soufflé cheesecake and donuts (chocolate, white chocolate, strawberry and matcha). All the items all very good. The Kaise Pudding comes in cute ceramic bottles that we can bring home as souvenirs. The staff is very helpful and very...

This branch is very near the train station.

The donuts are delicious and would make as great souvenirs. The cheese souffle/cheesecakes ran out by the time we visitied. We regret we didn't buy more donuts to take home! Both plain and matcha donuts were enjoyable.

They really do close around 5pm. Make sure to drop by...
