The staff are super friendly and helpful, and there is a resident goldie Akari and two cats in the compound. ||There are also five onsens - two outdoors - which were easy to access. In fact, we had four baths in one day, and recommend number 2 (indoor) and 1 and 5 (outdoors). 5 is slightly more private as number 1 is near the road and the carpark.||Entry to the place can be difficult as there is a sharp turn down the short ramp into the carpark area. We found that driving into the Lawson carpark first was easier.||Our room was slightly small and dated, though relatively clean. It was not futon beds and there was little space to spread out two large suitcases. The bed was comfortable enough though being located near the windows made it very cold. There was no hot water in the shower (could not get it to work) but there was in the sink. Anyway, we managed to shower a few times before entering the onsens, so that was not an issue.||The yakiniku dinner provided was tasty and of a wide variety, and included wagyu beef slices, chicken and pork. The indoor onsen was a little dark and frankly, one is not sure if the place was cleaned properly because it was really dim. It’s beautiful and relatively tranquil, perfect for a quiet getaway.||Lastly, staff are all great with foreigners. I think many of the staff and foreigners themselves and seem to have little issues communicating in English. All were friendly and really helpful.||There’s a Lawson right beside the property and perfect for stocking your drinks and snacks.||All-in-all, great to come back...
