This is our fourth visit to Yufuin, a lovely and warm onsen town in northwestern Kyushu. This time, we spotted a new restaurant near the Yufuin train station and decided to give it a go. Brief summary: excellent. The salmon soba is a fresh comboโ€”cold soba noodles combined with salmon sashimi and chicken tempuraโ€”yielding a fresh and exciting taste. The nanban chicken set is also excellent: the chicken is juicy and succulent, and the sauce is prepared with smashed egg. An excellent mealโ€”thank you!

In a word, delicious. In many, the flavors were melting on my tongue, the juices bursting in my mouth relentlessly. I couldnโ€™t even catch my breath before diving in for the next bite. Truly a culinary experience I was lucky to be on this Earth to witness. I want to thank my mother for giving birth to me so that this flavor could reach my tastebuds. Please take time to visit this establishment!

Food was delicious! We ordered Nanban chicken and Oyakudon. The sauce goes really well with the fried chicken which was tender and flavourful. The pork cutlet for the Oyakudon was extremely tender too and the egg + onion gravy really fragrant. Highly recommend this place! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
