This is a seafood restaurant and the freshly cooked seafood is very good indeed. It looks deceptively small but is bigger than anticipated, homely and comfortable in a simple way. You can of course choose other alternatives too. Vegetarians are catered for as are children. A pity however that my seven-year-old grandson could not choose a smaller size from the adult menu because he loves seafood. A bit of flexibility would have been good. He had to settle for Beef Steak at £7.95 instead. The seafood was beautifully presented and very tasty. We can recommend the Spanish Prawns at £7.95 as an excellent starter. So too, the panache of seafood, the crab tagliatelle and the delicious sea bass with poached egg, potatoes, spinach and lemon butter. These main course dishes were priced at £16.95 each. They were all very good. The house white can also be recommended at £18.50 a bottle. The service was very good until we ordered dessert. It then slipped and we were kept waiting rather too long for dessert and then the bill too. We tried cheesecake and panna cotta. They looked attractive but in truth they were hugely disappointing. Had better from the supermarket. You may prefer to not bother with them. Smashing seafood on offer but give the desserts a miss.

I had dinner here during my stay in Jersey. The restaurant is tucked away near the promenade. Foodwise it was a bit of a mixed bag during my visit. - The restaurant gave a free tomato soup amuse bouche which was tasty. - For starter I had Jersey Crab Arancini. This was probably the best individual dish I had during my trip to Jersey, with crispy coating, creamy rice and soft crab combining to for a beautiful dish. - For main I had the seafood curry and this was not as successful. No complaints on the freshness of the seafood, but unfortunately the sauce that accompanied the dish was far too salty for me and ruined the overall taste. - Service was very good and the staff attentive. I would definitely try the place again as it is clear the chef can provide a nice plate of food as evidenced by the starter.

From the outside, this restaurant looks like a typical small eatery. The food was fresh, and since we don't drink, we ordered bread. The waiter brought us a small cup of tomato soup, which my husband and I both thought tasted like canned tomato soup with some croutons added. For the main course, I had the seafood pasta, and he had the steak and shrimp—both were delicious. The bill, including a 10% service charge, came to nearly £70. Prices in Jersey are quite high, at least 30% more expensive than in Edinburgh.

Busy Tonight given its valentine's so quite a long wait for food. Outside it says seafood restaurant, as a commercial fisherman I was disappointed not to see lobster or crab, oysters or even mussels, all available locally to jersey waters. Starter smelt lovley but was dry and mediocre. The scallop dish was actually quite good however not fresh as there is no roe on them this time of year so that indicated they were frozen, and one still had remains oF the sack on 😩. Recieved a complementary amuse buche of soup immediately after starter then a very long wait for the main. One of the female staff was abrupt and loud, made me feel uncomfortable, was a noticeable atmosphere around her, the other along with a male server were nice. Was surprisingly charged well over £4 for tap water!!! Two glasses of wine one large one small had the same quantity in same glass, found it to be quite expensive for what was received, made a night out however would not go back. Also toilet was not pleasant or usable as was blocked, reported to staff who said after colleague inspected it there was nothing wrong with it, returned to use it to find it usable, I guess a member of public unblocked the stack of paper from the bowl and cleaned the paper with excrement on...

Absolutely beautiful meal. Lovely staff and very good service. Had Calamari and salad for starter. Best calamari I've had. Followed by half lobster prawns mussels in a lovely sauce. Jersey new potatoes to accompany it. Some nice bread and Jersey butter. Delicious. Bottle of Zinfandel rose from USA and glass of Branchage cider from La Mare estate in Jersey. Lovely. Decided I just had room for pudding?! Sticky toffee ice cream sundae. Hot pudding at bottom of glass, ice cream and cream on top. Mmmmmm...Altogether a fantastic meal. My partner had scallops and pancetta salad to start followed by Ribeye steak and New potatoes and then couldn't manage a pudding! Lightweight! Gave him one spoonful of mine. Said it was to die for. Would definitely go back if I was in Jersey again and definitely recommend it to anyone. Loads of different choices and they do a special menu between 5-7 pm. Cosy atmosphere and I would say you should book before you go as...
