Rustic Bar and Eatery — Restaurant in Amman

I’m very disappointed! Very disappointed!

We used to come to this place very often with friends! Toady we came as usual to celebrate a happy moment for us .However, once we come we asked the guy one the reception area he nicely asked us if we have a reservation before we told we are a repeated guest for this bar and we asked if there’s no place available table we set on the bar. He wanted inside and one one bald and tall guy come out and rudely said “ شباب احنى بنفوت شباب مع بنات " then he slammed the door we asked to speak with him again because we always come here and never this happened before . He shouted with very high pitch tone this the rule of the bar “ you don’t teach me how to do my job” ومين ما كان بغير كلمتي بفوت الي بعجبني و الي ما بعجبني انت ما بخصك . My question to the owner how do you allow this to happen! So disappointed i will tell all my friends not to go there !

The last visit we got this as a gift from the bartender . I was so excited and brought new friends to show them around one of them was not Jordanian then we came through this! I felt so ashamed such place is run by people like him. Next time if you plan to visit take a helmet with you this guy might cause you a serious injuries or as we understand from him ستاجر بنات حتى تقدر تفوت!

Once we asked about his name he said “ اسمي ما بخصك امشي برا لا اعرف كيف اتعامل معك"

I was about one second from not Calling the cops for threatening me like that !

I really have no problem with the new rule but I’m really angry about how threatened me and speak rudely with us . It only take a smile to convince someone that what we asked for only a smile. Never again!

I'm retracting my earlier review of this pub, which i had given a five-star rating in September. Today, I had a horrible experience with some staff members. I booked a table earlier in the day with the understanding (at least my own understanding) that I'd be seated outdoors. I was told that outdoors was fully booked for soccer enthusiasts who'd be watching a Jordan-iraq soccer game, but i gathered that my request could be honored. When I arrived at the bar one hour ahead of the start of the game, I was given a table indoors in a side room. When i refused and asked to speak to the manager, one of the waiters was arrogant and had an attitude - either you take it (the designated table) or leave it. He also refused to give me the manager's number and left me and my guests baffled by his attitude. I tried to seat my three visiting friends from the U.K. on the bar, but was told all the stools were booked, too. We ended up leaving the place and, sadly, with no one in the staff showing any remorse, or apologizing for the attitude...

Recommended Jun 2025 I like this bar. They have a nice outside seating area, friendly and attentive service, happy hour daily. Excellent cocktails. Good food. Just had two issues in my last visit. We ordered Greek salad …unfortunately it came with lettuce, although that was not listed on the menu as one of the ingredients….and where in the world you put lettuce in Greek salad! We told the waiter and they changed it. I ordered seafood pasta. It is listed on the menu as one that comes with rose sauce… unfortunately when it sand the oysters were charred, and the sauce was so creamy I could not eat the pasta. I recommend they serve it with tomato sauce and not to char grill the oysters all in...
