Found this little hometown diner while looking for lunch on our way to the Polynesian Culture Center. The atmosphere was your typical hometown restaurant vibe with local diners and Christmas music and decor. The service was mixed. Very fast to seat us, take our order and bring our food. And the guy who took our drink order and cleared the table was very friendly. The server who took our order and brought our food may have been having a bad day but she seemed annoyed with our questions about the menu. They wouldn’t let us put Ube pancakes with our combo plate and said we would have to order a separate short stack if we wanted to try them. She seemed irritated when we asked for a bit of extra dressing as well. The prices were typical for other places we have been on Oahu. They did have a good variety on their menu. The food was good. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and the blueberries were plentiful. The portions were good for the pancakes (3 large) but pretty small amount of Spam and eggs for the price. The chef salad was delicious but also pretty small for the price. Overall I’d still recommend them if you want a local favorite.

After our morning sunrise outing, we headed over to grab some breakfast in the Kaneohe area. Specifically, we were looking for Koa Pancake House. This particular location was a bit difficult to find because it’s in the middle of a semi-industrial area and the signage says “Kaneohe Pancake House” instead of “Koa Pancake House”. After a bit of searching around, we finally found some parking (there’s really not a lot of parking in this neighbourhood due to all of the businesses) and we headed inside hoping that we found the right restaurant. The interior had an old school vibe going on but not entirely sketchy. The menu is pretty much what you’d expect for a breakfast diner (kind of similar to Eggs ‘n Things). We wound up ordering a Short Stack of Chocolate Chip Pancakes ($8.95), Turkey Sandwich ($9.50), and Pork Links ($5.95). These were pretty good pancakes… large and fluffy with lots of chocolate chips in them. The only thing that would have made them better would have been a big helping of whipped cream on top.

Girlfriend and I were craving a brunch spot so we came here. Food and service was amazing. Get the Churro waffle. TRUST ME. Taste amazing how it melts in your mouth. Man, if you're in Kaneohe and craving a solid brunch, you've got to hit up Kaneohe Pancake House. I dropped in recently and, let me tell you, their Churro waffle is the real deal - it's like a carnival treat met breakfast and decided to become best friends. And don't even get me started on their three-egg omelette; that thing was on point! Fluffy, filled just right, and totally hit the spot. The vibe in there is straight-up classic diner. It feels like one of those comfy spots where everyone might know your name if you drop by often enough. The crew working there? Super chill. They kept things moving, made sure my cup was full, but weren't all up in my business So, if you're around and your stomach's making those "feed me" noises, swing by Kaneohe Pancake House. Good food, good vibes, and I mean, come on, Churro waffle? Need I say more?

This place is only open until 3pm and is great for Breakfast/Lunch/Brunch. My boyfriend had the western omelette and I had the KOA House Lunch Special with the short rib and fried shrimp. OMG the Kalbi short rib is to die for. Next time I would choose another option over the fried shrimp. It was only two pieces and felt skimpy. I'm sure the teriyaki chicken or beef would be better. Otherwise, everything was fresh, and hot, and delicious. For my fellow fatties I would choose to sit in the booth since the tables move. The chairs are wonky! Great service and attentive staff. Would go back for sure!

I only write reviews when something is really good or really not recommendable. This place is a joke ... I don’t know why this „restaurant“ has good reviews. The crepes was not even ready to eat. The „strawberries“ were frozen and not fresh and still cold?!?!?!? Waitress don’t listen (we said no ice), didn’t say sorry.. just so bad! She saw that we didn’t even eat half of the food and brought already the bill. I would not recommend this place. There are plenty other places with better reviews. 70$ for 3 very bad pancakes 🥞 Mahalo for nothing.

- Parking can be very difficult in this area - Service was super friendly and quick Food - Side order of fried rice (OMG) delicious smoky and salty... Best fried rice I've had in a while... Just so much flavor - Carmel Apple Pancakes - one thing I love is when you can eat pancakes without syrup, these pancakes or thick they will definitely fill you up -Ube Pancakes - these are not the super sweet version as some ube lovers expect, more color then flavor but for a pancake I probably try a different flavor unless you're basic
