I’m so upset to write such a horrible review but, if I suffered through this, I’d like to save someone else the trouble. Pictured is my order of Pad Se EEEEWWWW is right 🥴 this is by far the worst take out meal I have ever tried to eat. It was so dry, the noodles were stuck together like they had been cooked then allowed to cool without an oil and just formed super thick starchy globs. The meat was so questionable, not sure which month it was cooked in. Absolutely no flavor whatsoever. It was truly a disaster, so bad actually, it had me thinking this much be a money laundering operation because how could they serve this and stay in business. I honestly was so embarrassed for them and took a long time to write this review. But it has to be said. The most carelessly prepared ‘meal’ I’ve ever had to pay for. You can even see in the photo the super white areas of the unseasoned undercooked noodles. And to think I brought this monstrosity home so excited to eat a favorite Thai meal and end up with something I’m not even sure my dog would eat. I would never recommend eating here, again not even convinced it’s an actual...
Read moreI’ve dined here on several occasions (pre covid) and I’ve also ordered to-go here (early covid). I can speak to two dishes. The chicken Penang curry and the spicy chicken and broccoli. The Penang is very delicious. The sauce is a medium thick sauce with that classic satay Penang taste. I typically order Thai hot and my chief complaint is that Thai hot, is just not Thai hot here. The Penang texture and taste was very good.
The spicy chicken and broccoli is more like a soup/broth that is literally a few degrees away from boiling when you get it. It’s fricken temperature hot so beware! This soup/dish or whatever it is Is actually quite tasty. Again though, Thai hot is just not Thai hot. The chicken can be a little on the less tender side and the broccoli is on the soft side as opposed to crunchy. It’s tasty, it’s just not spicy enough.
So the key takeaways here is, I found the food to taste good. Not great but good. I also found that their version of Thai hot just doesn’t cut the mustard. Fortunately I’ve got my own Carolina reaper powder so I’ll light it up...
Read moreAwesome Thai cuisine! A small in size but large in flavor restaurant!
My wife and I were famished after touring the Byodo-In Temple and nothing satisfies like Thai! And we were happy to see this restaurant pop up on Google Maps. The service was prompt and attentive, the food was everything you would want in Thai cuisine, and the atmosphere was a cozy family run eatery. Only six tables, but the space was used effectively.
The food was great. The Pad Se Eew was particularly good, the wide noodles were fantastic! The chicken Satay was tender with a fab sauce. My wife ordered the Spicy Noodles, which I were also delish. We both ordered medium hot which was perfect!
The meal was promptly served and the waiter was attentive. An easy, quick, and very...
