Worst ever experience. F** Chef and other kazha ladies staff I had actually heard lot of good reviews same time service is very slow was been told .. Worst part was the main chef, thinking himself as a boss . So arrogant so rude so stupid no matters. Zero hospitality plus customer service minus. No coordination between the staff.. One asked us to wait then other asked to accommodate 6 PPL in table to four.. After waiting for 10 mins chef directly came and yelled saying "aap logo ko samaj nahi aata ek bar bola toh, kisne bola yaha baithne"
After all these drama, other kazha staff and Indian chef spoke something and then told go for other restaurants no food. Then that idiot staff directly told niklo yaha se nahi hai khana. When we asked for manager number and his name he said Jo ukhad na hai ukhado I am main here. Then these kazha staff came in between and started yelling in Russian when asked to speak in English saying no English get out stupid Indian. Dear @manager please keep self respect first for your nation and then humanity 🙏 Because behind you whats happening you should really know. Just because you have good reviews suddenly you get a shock and small advice keep some good staff with less attitude. 100 percent what happened was wrong and even if we (customer) were wrong in customer service king rule is customer is God.. but we weren't wrong, others also saw. And that day everyone who were sitting told they were rude and very very slow service.
Later coming back i came to know that there was some big group who was suppose to come ( 40) so might be they were least interested to attend us.
Sorry for such a review but I will post every possible place. Treating a ladies this way is just not acceptable....
Read moreHello Everyone,
First of all i want to break my review points as per the following and Share my honest review:
Ambience Service Taste Worth for money Over all
Ambience - Over all Ambience is excellent, maintained clean and excellent classy interior.
Service - Very poor service… No tissues and no Water when the customers are seated. Everything you need to ask by waiting for sometime.
Taste - Not authentic and Chicken was with rotten smell. We ordered the following:
3.1 Chicken Kholapuri - Chicken was with a rotten smell and tasted very bad. I know the difference between the fresh and Rotten. The chicken served was too bad. Kolhapuri is not Authentic.
3.2 Latcha parotta - Was burnt a lot and the taste was average.
3.3 Butter Naan - Was again an average and doesn’t worth the taste for the money you pay. ( Not That Buttery)
3.4 Ghee Roast Dosa - Too average and the batter was bit sour. My kids were not happy for the taste. They missed Indian food and hence we took them here after seeing the reviews and not that hype.
Ghee Roast Dosa was just 12 inch and doesn’t deserve 3000 Tenge. I tried in many Indian restaurants outside India, where you get much larger size 25+ inch Dosa with cone shape and the taste or quantity doesn’t deserve the money. (Basically Looting). Will never visit for any other items too as the taste in the hotel doesn’t deserve such big money.
BIG MONEY WITH TASTE = WE LIKE BIG MONEY WITH NO TASTE = NEVER GO BACK
OVER ALL = Never...
Read moreOn the very first day at Almaty, this place was our go-to option, and it turned out to be a bad decision which affected us on the entire trip.
The location was easy to find and the name struck us from the far end of the street, the ambience was a bit too dark but we were there hoping for some good Indian food. The menu was rich and unique and we ordered a few of their best items suggested by the waitress.
There was some good music and mood lighting. The non-veg thali was pretty decent and nothing much to complain about it. Then came the biryani, which was plain, bland and tasted more like something else and definitely not like a biryani. There was no much flavour to it and we somehow managed to eat it. Their Naan was real good and soft but a dish called Crispy Lamb was served and it spoiled the entire feel of our taste buds. Then we tried the Masala tea, hoping that at least, 'what could go wrong with tea?', but to our expectations, the tea was infused with way too much of Masala. It was good at some point... But after all, a tea should taste like a tea, right? (not like a biryani)
So, the food was all in all, a stark contrast to what the restaurant claims, i.e, Indian food. Also, I am surprised that this store has a 4+ star rating. Maybe, it's just for us that this spot and it's food was not upto the mark.
Also, the only reason I give them a 2-star rating, instead of a 1-star is only because of its owner. He was very helpful and we had a very good chat in the end, he also shared with us the contact of a local guide from...
