A restaurant that takes foreign tourists to Kazakhstan for idiots. And a meal after which you get diarrhea, and the products served are expired. What a Shame !
We ordered a tashkenskij tea and a lemonade. The tea was a carafe with only green tea. We pointed it out saying that it lacks mint , honey, lemon /orange.
She took our carafe and came back saying oh no sorry we don't have the ingredients. So if we were tourists not knowing the real taste of the tea we would have just drunk it thinking that this disgusting taste is normal. So unrespectful for the Ouzbek culture...
After that she suggested we order something else, we took the vanilla milk shake with fresh cream: it's a bit of milk with a lot of water, and the whipped cream is chemical. What a disappointment!
The burger was ok, but it didn't have the ingredients listed. No pastrami, no bbq sauce. It was just bread, a little iceberg, a thin slice of tomato and the steak... Also the portion of fries was tiny, we had to order a second one which was much bigger. To finish, we ordered a Tiramisu and a medovik. As we didn't finish them, we took them with us, and when we came back we saw the date written on the bottom of the pot: August 12th, whereas it was the 17th...
Diarrhoea, stomach ache... Not a...
Read moreWe found it accidentally, but I am glad that we have found this place.
First of all this is the heaven for carnivores. God they have all kind of meet in their menu. I tried burger which was really good. Next to burger they bring baked patatoes. They tried to differenciate their courses with this baked patatoes thing but A burger must be a couple with only fries. I wish they could let us choose our side dish with burger and other meat courses.
Anyway it was very crowded. Service speed was kind of ok. However the waiter got our order wrong unfortunately. I really fed up from this. Not just here but almost in every restaurant and Cafe waiters take yoru order wrong even if you speak Russian. And you try to imagine what will happen when you order English.
No English speaking waiter is here. Their English menu is small and hard to read. Toilets were clean. Prices are ok.
Apart from all these minuses I will definately come back here to try their meat courses again.
Hope they will have a menu with picture, have a better English menu let us choose our side dish and will find someone who can simply get orders and...
Read moreI can see how this chain is so popular with locals – good food at very fair prices. Nothing fancy here, but $7 decent ribeye steak is hard to beat. I'm not sure why everything is served with two slices of bread, but eating steak with bread should be considered a crime against food. I'd rather have more salad. Mackerel was tasty as well, and I think it came with the best tartar sauce I've ever tried in Kazakhstan. Their signature craft beer is your average local or Russian cheap beer, so nothing craft about it, but I'm fine with that. But I absolutely didn't like their wheat beer, as it has some sort of artificial aroma I found very off-putting. But think it is all about the food here, and it is pretty good. I believe this chain is heading in a...
