Beautiful cafe in Almaty! Found them on Google and decided to visit as they had great reviews and the location was near us. Ah, where to begin? The food was very fresh, we ordered their chicken noodle soup and buckwheat porridge for lunch and tried their Napoleon cake alongside two smaller pastries for dessert. Their coffee and dark chocolate were both strong and easy to drink. Everything was so yummy! Also big thank you to the cashier and service staff as they could speak a little English, which made ordering less intimidating. I was a long term guest if this pkase and Usually the service used to be good but with the new manager and I believe a new chef the service was really poor. Also the quality of food. The porridge ( rice with mangoes) was stinking of oily fish due to improper keeping in the fridge of frozen mango and I find some piece very resembling fish bone. On my request to change it to a different option the guy got very ignorant a and overprotective laughing into my face and saying that I got mad literally. That the fish smell is purely my imagination and the fish bone is mango bone. Really “ funny” . This attitude is really put me off. Never again...

The strength of this place is that they offer a drink, such as tea or coffee free of charge if you order breakfast platter. In many other places in this neighborhood, you would pay more if you order tea and the main dish separately. During the busy hours, it’s hard to find sitting in this café. The location is great and usually there are lots of parking available. The café is pet friendly, the service is good, the public inside is very trendy, prices are average.
