Cc: (Copied from my review of Keystone Park-location that hosts Barista and Co. Riverside)
I am a rider and I pick up orders from Barista and Co. Riverside here at Keystone Park through Uber Eats. The menace at the gate and security hut point by Keystone park security guards is becoming too much. Earlier on, this year 2024, we have been required to remove reflector jackets by Keystone Park security guards and i dont understand the rationale since reflector jackets are for riders' individual safety. I have raised this issue previously with 3 of the managers at Barista but it seems nothing is done. When i ask the security at Keystone Park about their rationale, they are very rude about it and they insist that we have to remove the reflectors because of the Dutch embassy in the Keystone Park premises, but this is not a thought through rationale since the embassy should not be interfering with riders safety for their own convenience. Furthermore, the Barista coffee shop is only on the entrance courtyard outside and not inside the premises/building begging the question how this interferes with an embassy inside the physical building or its operations. It actually sounds racist if you ask me. Now this morning, it seems they have added other rules at the security hut that were not there previously. Now we have to write our names physically on a book and remove all metalics including power bank which is a cumbersome process for riders, for just a simple task of picking up an order at the Ground floor courtyard in wide eye view distance of the security hut and the security officers. All these things have now become irritating, annoying, unbearable and non-time friendly. This is turning to harrassment for people who are supposed to be helping a business and further action like this may harm a rent-paying business' productivity. An establishment of this magnitude should be helpful, non-harrasing and non-discriminatory to even the workers who visit, in order for effecient service delivery because as I write, this is not something that i have ever experienced elsewhere, hence my concern. If this continues at the gate without your management and the restaurant's intervention, I will have no other choice but to cancel other orders at Barista. Other riders i have talked to share my sentiments. If it was possible, I would put a zero rating because this is something I have never experienced elsewhere. Please look into...
Read moreWe love Barista & Co! The food is great and the staff is always friendly. Anything with the lotus is delicious!
We won’t be returning to this location however. Below is a review I had for this shopping center. It doesn’t reflect on Barista & Co but is the reason we won’t be back.
“The shops themselves are nice, but we just had a terrible experience with the guards at the walk-in entrance. We’ve visited multiple times before and have never been asked to register—nor do we have to register at any other shopping center. This time, the guards asked if we had been there before, insisted our number should be in the system, and when it wasn’t, they told us we had to register. We agreed, but instead of simply helping us through the process, one guard became hostile and unnecessarily rude to my wife, acting as if we were somehow the problem. His attitude made the situation far worse than it needed to be. Maybe it was poor interpersonal skills, but overall the interaction was frustrating and...
Read moreWhat a delightful place to eat. The food was yummy. Everything that we ordered was above great. I totally enjoyed the food.
They serve breakfast all day!
The place has some great veggie and vegan options. I would rate this place better than Artcaffe!
The service was great. The atmosphere was fine. For a place that is located in an office complex, I had low expectations, but this place still does a decent job.
The place is located in the same building that houses offices of funds/ high commissions of some other countries, yet I was surprised by the cleanliness of the washrooms. The washrooms in the office complex are totally avoidable. This is however, not in the hands of...
