Brioche Restaurant Riverside — Restaurant in Nairobi

Had to come and check out the hype , saw there IG page and this was a must visit whilst I am in Nairobi. Loved there IG page, looked like a breathtaking amazing place!

Walked in on 27th April afternoon, at the cafe I greeted the staff, friendly staff at cafe / cashier downstairs.

Went upstairs, bumped into an old friend who was also checking the place out, went and found myself a table, the staff looked / seemed so busy but the place was quite empty.

Sat down, staff kept on going up / down past me, no one to offer menu, drinks, or food...

Waited as I thought they might be busy, after 21 minutes I gave up waiting.

Clients should be served within the first 3 minutes at least, or at least acknowledged, not 21 minutes...whilst I was leaving I mentioned at the Bar no one has served me, got ignored too so I left,

Downstairs I informed the friendly cashier no one has served me, she was VERY SHOCKED and responded "all this time since you came no one has served you??"

She deeply apologized and tried to have me sit at cafe downstairs and she would serve however it was best I go elsewhere.

I'm deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Brioche Riverside. I had ordered pastries for delivery, and to my surprise, I found a foreign object in one of them. While I've visited the place in person before and enjoyed the ambiance, this incident has left me with a bad impression, and it's an experience I don't want to repeat.

To make matters worse, the lackluster customer service I received after raising the issue only compounded my disappointment. I expected a prompt and professional response to a serious concern like finding a foreign object in their food, but unfortunately, my concerns were not addressed to my satisfaction. This lack of proper customer care added insult to injury, and I'm left with a sense of frustration and disappointment. Very awfull experience i ordered T bone steak was extremely cold and bad service, the ladies profiled us not much attention, despite having raised our hands for a long time we were ignored probably because two black african ladies dinning alone. Other tables of different races were being given attention and being looked after.
