This is a new thai place with a lot of potential. The decor is amazing and quaint. The service of Frazer is excellent and quick. They served complimentary purple tea which was a great gesture. There are several lovely cats around the dining area. The dining area is decorated with cute daffodils that are lit.

However, the food was average. It was not bad - but taste wise, it was not the best. There are various areas of improvement.

Massaman curry: There were very few peanuts in the massaman curry. Massaman curry is one curry that gets its extra layer of texture and richness with a generous amount of peanuts. A sprinkling of 3 peanuts is just not enough.

No peanut sauce: They do not have peanut sauce. This is a staple of thai cuisine.

No chili oil: They did not have chili oil. They only had dried chilies. Chili oil is a basic condiment for thai cuisine.

No Flat ( drunken) noodles They did not have flat noodles ( thai drunken noodles).

Spring roll filling was too oily and eccessively black on the outside.

The flavors of an authentic massaman curry did not come through.

Menu prices: The prices in their physical paper menu do not match their system menu. They charged 800 for the spring roll when the menu price was 700. Upon asking, they changed it saying that they need to fix their system to match the menu.

I'll stop here - this restaurant has a lot of potential - they need to improve some of their menu offerings , make sure that basic thai ingredients, condiments and sauces are always available. Food quality needs to be improved - as a comparison, try the food at bang bang at village market and you will know the difference .

Security team outside the restaurant is nagging and excessively friendly in an artifical...

Authentic Thai Flavors in Africa – A Great Experience!

The food was absolutely delicious and truly captured the essence of Thai street cuisine. Most of the dishes were served on banana leaves, which added a lovely touch of authenticity that’s very common in many parts of Asia.

The curries were rich and flavorful, just like in Thailand. We tried both chicken and seafood Pad Thai — both were excellent, and you could really taste the smoky "wok hei" that gives Pad Thai its unique character.

The fried rice was fresh and well-seasoned, with a reasonable portion size. The Chicken Laab was also a standout — spicy, tangy, and definitely worth recommending.

For drinks, we enjoyed the Coconut Iced Coffee, Iced Matcha Latte, and Iced Taro Frappe. All were refreshing and paired well with the meal.

We also ordered extra white rice, which was reasonably priced and not overpriced like in some places.

Overall, it was a delightful experience. It was a pleasant surprise to find such authentic Thai flavors served with care — right here in Africa. Highly...

The restaurant has alot of potential offering authentic Thai , Vietnamese cuisine. Itried the Red Thai Curry and the Thai Chicken Wings with Curry Sauce, the Curry was good, the chicken was abit dry , though saice was flavorful , we also had the honey garlic chicken. It was alright ! My son had the Pad Kra Pao Gai and seemed to enjpy it alot, on my end I enjoyed the Papaya Salad,. The food presentation was amazing! Its a fun place to visit during summers, avoid when its cold or rwiny as its purely outdoor. The management needs to improve on the decor and seating make it more comfortable and luxurious! The toilets and wash area need improvement to match up with the restaurant expectations. On a positive the menu is affordable and portions sizeable...Good...

My husband and I just got back to Nairobi after honeymooning throughout Southeast Asia and we’ve been craving Thai cuisine! The restaurant staff, even the security, are all such lovely people! The environment was warm and welcoming! We were served by Frazier and James. They were kind, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the chicken wings with the special sauce and the chicken pad Thai. They even have ceremonial grade matcha! Yummm!! šŸ˜‹ To top it off, we received a discount on our lunch, which we weren’t expecting! I’m so glad we found this place! It’s our new favorite!

Just got back from my sister’s birthday dinner at Khrung Thep on Sports Rd.; amazing experience all around. The service was stellar; Rahab and Winnie took care of us diligently and made the evening feel seamless. The drinks were noteworthy and definitely worth sampling across the different kinds. The menu is brief, well-curated, and not at all intimidating, a confidence that really shows up in the dishes. Flavours were balanced, portions generous, and everything felt thoughtfully done.
