This is a new thai place with a lot of potential. The decor is amazing and quaint. The service of Frazer is excellent and quick. They served complimentary purple tea which was a great gesture. There are several lovely cats around the dining area. The dining area is decorated with cute daffodils that are lit.
However, the food was average. It was not bad - but taste wise, it was not the best. There are various areas of improvement.
Massaman curry: There were very few peanuts in the massaman curry. Massaman curry is one curry that gets its extra layer of texture and richness with a generous amount of peanuts. A sprinkling of 3 peanuts is just not enough.
No peanut sauce: They do not have peanut sauce. This is a staple of thai cuisine.
No chili oil: They did not have chili oil. They only had dried chilies. Chili oil is a basic condiment for thai cuisine.
No Flat ( drunken) noodles They did not have flat noodles ( thai drunken noodles).
Spring roll filling was too oily and eccessively black on the outside.
The flavors of an authentic massaman curry did not come through.
Menu prices: The prices in their physical paper menu do not match their system menu. They charged 800 for the spring roll when the menu price was 700. Upon asking, they changed it saying that they need to fix their system to match the menu.
I'll stop here - this restaurant has a lot of potential - they need to improve some of their menu offerings , make sure that basic thai ingredients, condiments and sauces are always available. Food quality needs to be improved - as a comparison, try the food at bang bang at village market and you will know the difference .
Security team outside the restaurant is nagging and excessively friendly in an artifical...

The food was absolutely delicious and truly captured the essence of Thai street cuisine. Most of the dishes were served on banana leaves, which added a lovely touch of authenticity thatās very common in many parts of Asia.
The curries were rich and flavorful, just like in Thailand. We tried both chicken and seafood Pad Thai ā both were excellent, and you could really taste the smoky "wok hei" that gives Pad Thai its unique character.
The fried rice was fresh and well-seasoned, with a reasonable portion size. The Chicken Laab was also a standout ā spicy, tangy, and definitely worth recommending.
For drinks, we enjoyed the Coconut Iced Coffee, Iced Matcha Latte, and Iced Taro Frappe. All were refreshing and paired well with the meal.
We also ordered extra white rice, which was reasonably priced and not overpriced like in some places.
Overall, it was a delightful experience. It was a pleasant surprise to find such authentic Thai flavors served with care ā right here in Africa. Highly...
