Read moreTiffany is a great choice for celebrating or taking visitors who want to taste Kosovar food. They don't have a menu, but they have more or less a set menu that you can either get everything or pick and choose if you're not super hungry. Salads and starters include a Greek salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, cheese) and one with lettuce, beets, carrots, cabbage, and white beans (this salad, to my taste, is way better, if you're only getting one). Then there's ajvar, a trio of scrumptious cheese spreads, and hot peppers (seriously, they are extremely hot! Be warned). Hot dishes are grilled meat, sarma, mantija in yogurt, meat with potatoes, vegetable casserole, and of course the all star, Elbasan tava, a casserole of lamb in garlic pepper yogurt sauce. Prepare to eat your weight in Elbasan tava, which, in my opinion, is the best I've had in town! Dessert is a forgettable baklava that is somehow both too drenched in syrup and too dry. for Kosovo standards, this is an expensive meal: all that plus wine is likely around €15-17 per person. If you don't get everything, I've had it as cheap as €10-11 pp. The setting is charming, especially if you eat on the terrace. Call ahead for reservations when the weather is nice and everyone wants to...
Read moreTheres no menu on the table, so they charge you as they want. We went there and ordered “Elbasan Tava” and a mix of grilled meat. The Elbasan Tava had barely meat on it and it was just a cooked cream(pretty average) which was extremely overpriced (see prices below).
The combination of meat consisted of a small portion of veal (half of which was bone and un-eatable), chicken filet(the worst one I ever had) one small kebab(homemade but not delicious at all) and a small portion of cow meat (pretty average not special).
Prices were extremely high as it costed us 32.8 EUR for two persons. Find the list of prices below:
