Horizon Restaurant, located in the iconic Kuwait Towers, offers a delightful buffet experience with a breathtaking panoramic view of Kuwait City, the Persian Gulf, and especially the sunset. It’s a perfect spot for both tourists and locals who want to enjoy a wide variety of international cuisine in a unique setting.
The buffet features an impressive selection of dishes, ranging from fresh seafood and grilled meats to Middle Eastern specialties and international favorites. I particularly enjoyed the seafood options — everything was fresh and well-prepared. The appetizers were also excellent, offering a great mix of flavors and textures. Don’t miss the pastries and desserts; they’re beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
The ambiance is relaxed and elegant, and the rotating floor adds a special touch, allowing you to enjoy a 360-degree view as you dine. Watching the sunset from the restaurant is a truly memorable experience — the changing colors over the Gulf create a stunning backdrop for your meal.
I highly recommend visiting Horizon Restaurant, especially around sunset. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want to treat yourself to great food with an unforgettable view, this place...
Read moreI patronize this "Horizon Restaurant" in Kuwait Tower, for family breakfast and for lunch, at different times.
For breakfast, this restaurant open from 08.00 AM to 11.30 AM, while for lunch it starts from 12.30 PM. I am not sure for dinner.
Access to this restaurant is easy, just inside Kuwait Tower in the tower's ball, at the height of around 80 meter above ground.
You can find many kind of food and drink that you can enjoy from the buffet menu, all you can eat. The price is KD 7.5 (US$25.5) / per person; while for lunch is KD 16 (US$52.3) / per person.
There are Arabic, Japanese, South Asian and western food and snacks, altogether put on the food trays. You can choose of what you want.
I would say that the food is standard, some food are mixed in their taste because of the mixed ingredients especially when it comes to South Asian and Arabic food and snacks, as well as as plain (no taste, no spicy, no salt, no sweet) as you would normally find in the five stars hotel.
Atmosphere and environment is good. The shaded / tinted glass windows look shabby, appeared to be blur, thus disturbing the view to the beautifulness of blue sea water.
I recommend you to visit at least once, to...
Read moreSoooo I would go for the vibe but NOT the FOOD.
Kuwait towers are a monument and a land mark but Unfortunately the restaurant is a disappointment. The price is 16 KD a person which could be acceptable if the food was good but the food was Horrible. The food was so untasty, would eat more delicious food at share3 almata3em. The breaded shrimp was greasy, The steak was way overcooked , the tabola was dry, the Alfredo was embarrassing and more worse stuff and don’t let me start with the dessert selection. The Om alu was bad and it’s so hard to make a ruined Om ali, they had three types of teramiso one of them was good. They had a pistachio cake that was awful. For honesty only the smoked raw salmon, the cheese cake and the kanaffa were good.
Would NOT GO AGAIN I DO...
