I travel to a lot of different countries for work but Koryokwan is my favorite Korean restaurant by far. I come here every possible chance I get. The food is very authentic and always bursting with flavor. Some of my favorite dishes include dduk bokki (rice cakes in spicy sauce with mozzarella cheese on top which is sooo delicious), fried chicken with chili sauce, jjajang myun (black bean noodle), jjam pong (noodle in spicy seafood broth), korean bbq beef (the beef is so soft and melts in your mouth!!!), soft tofu soup, beef tartare (they are know for this dish), and yangjanpi (mix of vegetables, meat, seafood, and soft clear potato noodle). They give you seasonal fruits at the end of the meal for free. You also have to try the Korean coffee which is a nice little treat after your meal. You can make a reservation by calling 2245-2759 and they will also kindly offer you directions to the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is great as you can have a private meal with your party in one of the rooms. There are also larger rooms to have a private party. The staff are also very friendly and quick to respond. The best part of the restaurant is the owner. She is so sweet and friendly. I would hands down say this is the best Korean...
