This restaurant in Bishkek stands out as one of the premier dining destinations. I wholeheartedly recommend it to those seeking a taste of local specialties. The service is commendable, marked by prompt delivery and an exceptionally attentive staff. Despite the language barrier, the staff adeptly managed our order, paying meticulous attention to every detail. The culinary delights, including the Mutton Soup, Fattoush Salad, beef and mutton Pilaf, and Veal Fillet, were truly a tasty delight. All this, coupled with a nominal price tag, makes it an absolute star.

I visited this restaurant yesterday with my family and we ordered their special Navat Plov (photos added). We thought if the Plov is as shown in menu then it's worth the 90 minutes needed for it's preparation. The plate came after 1 hours and 40 minutes however. As you can find in the photos...in reality you will have only half, if not less, the portion of meat shown in the menu! For a guy who's married to a local citizen from Bishkek, this was not my first time trying this dish so I knew how it should have been cooked! It was totally disappointing and embarrassing as I had invited some guests to this restaurant. The meat was from an old sheep (could easily be recognized from the bones) and needed double the time to tender. Trying the firs bite On this meat was like chewing a chunk of an old fried tyre! I have noticed that this restaurant is famous among tourists who end up paying more for lower quality of food and for the beautiful decorations and nice atmosphere. Locals who want a real taste of local dishes will not dine here.

The best place for Kyrgyz food in a posh and colorful restaurant. It is really spacious, it has several floors. The food was really tasty. I liked Uzgen plov a lot. Borsok and chalap were tasty as well. The sofas are quite comfy, with pillows. The restaurant is located in a central street of Bishkek. The bathroom was very clean too. The salad "shirin" with eggplants was tasty, with sweet sour sauce on it. Salad "chakarop" was tasty, simple, as anywhere. All in all, if you want to try Kyrgyz food and you want to like it, try this place!

The interior was beautiful and comfortable. The service was good although they did get an order wrong and we felt sorry for them so accepted their mistake. The disappointment was with the food as most of the items we wanted to order were not available even at around 8pm. The kebab meat while tasted good was very chewy and difficult to eat. And we all felt extra thirsty for hours after the dinner-- not sure if there was MSG added but it made us feel like there was. Quite disappointing first meal in Bishkek for us.

Great food overall, like it had other options in addition to traditional. Some flaws: it took a while to get our food, & I got a meat lagman instead of the vegetarian that I ordered. Of note, the kids' portions are huge. The kids' pizza 🍕 is about the size of a medium American pizza, probably larger. My daughter's a good eater, but could only finish half of hey burger and fries. But, we would return. Beautiful ambience, and it probably has the cleanest wash room in the entire country.
