With a burning desire after a lovely evening in Panfilov park with kids to have a nice dinner we ended up in a Pinta Bar on Frunze. 3 types of shashlik and a Tbone steak were ordered. Hmm, let us start with a Tbone nightmare for 610 soms. It was soooo bad, smelled unfamiliar type of oil, that seemed more to be a burnt out very cheap oil, not necessarily humans oriented.
The meat was hard and having no physical characteristics to be associated with meat with latin chemical formular of it. In other words, it did neither smell, nor taste meat, was very hard.
'Shashlik' was also hard and not worth 260 soms for a steak at all. We ordered 3 steaks and one of them was half eaten before ending up on our table, merely-3 pieces were missing.
The service was very bad, we were brought lula kebab shashlik which we did not order, having been obliged to accept it and pay for it.
Will never go there and would not recommend anyone.
By the way, we were asked by the serving girl, weather we are visiting the place for the first time, or we had been there before.
I suppose, that was another confounder for the terrible outcome, as we reported ourselves as having had 'enjoyed' them already.
That was followed by the girl saying: "Come next time and the food will be better".
This is the first place that I am that negative about in Bishkek.
Good luck...
