My favourite park in the town. Perfect location. Itt's pretty quite despite its location in the citycenter. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes around. The brenches are clean and you always can find the empty one ) you can enjoy cool evenings during the hot summers. And the main square is in front of it. There is a cinema nearby. And you can easily continue your long walkings to Dzerjinka boulevard.

Nice place to visit while you are in Bishkek. While visiting the park you can enjoy elements of old Soviet architecture, open sculpture museum, a number of sightseeings and fountains. Really beautiful place to be in and walk around. Not far are other main attractions of Bishkek as Ala Too square, National Museum, Government House, Panfilov Park and more.

I think the traditional name is Dubovy Park. But it is very nice to find this as it is very peaceful particularly as it is located right in the middle of the busy city of Bishkek. So after exploring the Central Square and the Parliament buildings this is a nice retreat and particularly lovely with the trees.

Красивый культурный сквер, который изначально назывался "Центральным сквером". Он был заложен в 1933 г. Напротив Дома правительства, который становится одним из любимых мест отдыха горожан. Он поражал разнообразием зелени, оригинально оформленными клумбами. На прямоугольной площади в 2 га собрано свыше 50 видов и форм деревьев и кустарников - форзиция и багряник, сирень и катальпа, каштан и айлант, софора и акация; в цветниках - флоксы, ромашки, ирисы и т. д. Голубые ели на Центральной аллее до сих пор украшают сквер в течение всего года. В 1953 г. в центре его построен фонтан из розового гранита оригинальной формы. В последние годы сквер особо не ухаживается но поставили много необычных скульптур. Вот только молодых деревьев и кустиков нет, от одних высоких деревьев он кажется пустым. Для прогулки и отдыхе отличное место.

오크 파크(Oak Park)는 비슈케크 에서 가장 오래된 공원 중 하나로 야외에  90여개의 조각품과 적위대 기념관,드라마극장,성니콜라스 교회가 있다. 1,890년에 식재된 나무들이 크게 자라 그늘을 만들어 많은 사람들이 즐겨 찾는 비슈케크의 명소가 되었다고 하는데 정말 시원하고 나무가 내뿜는 싱그러운 냄새가 향기롭다. 이공원에 마지막으로 설치된 조각품은 2004년에 추가된 쿠르마잔 다트카의 동상이라고 합니다. 쿠르만잔 다트카 동상 (Kurmanzhan  Datka Statue:Oak Park,Bishkek,Krz)은 쿠르만잔 다트카(1811~1907)여왕의 동상으로 오악 공원에 위치하고 있다. 그녀는 알라 이 키르기즈의 여왕으로 통치 기간중 키르기즈스탄 남부 지역을 러시아 제국에 병합시켰다. 그런데 조국 키르기즈스탄 남부를 러시아에 넘긴 여왕이 Oak Park에 동상으로 서있는 것이 내 상식으로는 이해가 안되네요. 더구나 1991년 소비에트에서 독립한 이후인 2004년에 알라이 여왕의 기념비가 오크 공원에 설치되었다고 하니 더더욱 이해가 안됩니다.나라를 러시아에 팔아넘긴 여왕인데.... 이 기념비는 청동과 회색 화강암 으로 아름답게 만들어져 있으며 비슈케크의 명소 중 한곳이라 내가 여기를 찾아왔지만 현명한 통치자였는지 매국녀였는지 영 헷갈리게 만드네요.
