Panfilov Park is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The park is well-maintained, with lush greenery, wide walking paths, and plenty of spots to relax. The iconic Zenkov Cathedral is a must-see, and the overall atmosphere is very tranquil. I enjoyed walking around and taking in the history and beauty of the area. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that some areas could use a bit more seating or shade, especially on hot days. Overall, a lovely spot to spend a few hours, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

I might have visited at the wrong time, as the park was closed during my trip. Compared to Panfilov Park in Almaty, this one could use more improvements and upkeep to reach its full potential. That said, it’s still a pleasant spot with plenty of space and greenery, and it has the charm of a local park where people can relax and enjoy the outdoors. With some enhancements, it could become an even more inviting destination in Bishkek.

Quite a noisy place with old attractions—some of them look like they’re straight out of Soviet times. It’s okay for a quick walk-through or maybe one ride on the big sightseeing wheel, but honestly, I’d recommend skipping it. For a more impressive view, head up into the hills on the edge of the city—you’ll get a much better panorama.

Natural Beauty (★★★★☆)

One of the standout features of Panfilov Park is its natural beauty. The park is well-maintained, with lush green lawns, tall trees, and colorful flowerbeds that change with the seasons. In the spring and summer, the park is a riot of colors, while in the autumn, it's a picturesque scene of falling leaves. It's a fantastic place to enjoy a leisurely stroll, have a picnic, or simply sit and relax in nature's embrace.

Monument of Glory (★★★★☆)

At the heart of the park stands the Monument of Glory, a striking memorial dedicated to the heroes who fought during World War II. This monument is a powerful symbol of courage and resilience. While the park is primarily a place for relaxation, it also offers some recreational activities. You can often find locals playing chess on the park's chess tables, or you can join in a game of volleyball or badminton with friendly locals. However, the park could benefit from more organized activities or facilities for sports enthusiasts.

Meh…but It might be the time of the year

Walked thru this Amusement Park yesterday and was underwhelmed. It was after 1pm but only a very few rides were open (bumper cars and shooting booth). Most rides were not only not open but looked like they hadn’t been for a long time. Same goes for concession stands. It could be the time of the year but it is Spring (May), the weather is nice and it’s Friday. This is a park for kids and maybe teenagers. The rides are for little kids. It is interesting to walk thru the park (free entrance) but almost a bit drepressing. After this visit , I have to wonder if “Panfilov” translated to English means...
