I had the MOST AMAZING raspberry tea bubble tea in my life at Hi Tea: they blended fresh raspberries with a lovely jasmine tea base, added lemon slices, and finished with fresh, tender tapioca bubbles for a naturally semi-sweet bubble tea which was ultra refreshing on a sweaty Bishkek summer day. I have had bubble tea all over the world - China, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea, and the USA - and NONE have ever been as good as this. The staff are extremely kind, helping to translate the menu for us non-Kyrgyz or Russian speakers. The atmosphere is very cute (the "tea, yes; you, maybe" sign is hilarious and true) and clean, with comfortable chairs and couches. The toilets are also kept clean! We went three times in the week we were in Bishkek: each bubble tea we tried (mango milk, oolong, and Oreo) was delicious and NEVER too sweet, made with fresh ingredients (nothing like the sickly sweet, powder based ones in some shops). If you like bubble tea, definitely visit this shop!

I dont understand why young Kirghiz people do not speak kirghiz but only russian. I asked for a bubble tea recommendation without milk (süt jok in kirghiz language) and they picked only fruit juice options (sok in russian language). I wanted tea, not a fruit juice - would still have been good if the juice was tasty but that wasnt the case, just bland strawberry...

I have tried their boba tea 3 times and 3 times I have been a little disappointed. The drinks cost from 250kgs (apx 3$) and just not really tasty. I took Oreo shake several times, but it’s too sweet and the milk is too fatty. Other time I got a Red Dragon and it was really sour. Wouldn’t recommend to take big portions. Otherwise, mochis are really delicious and they have interesting korean snacks, but haven’t tried them. But in general, the place is clean and the stuff is friendly.

THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! It used to be me and my bfs favourite tea shop. But lately the service became unbearable. The hijabi girl told me my total was 875, it was very noisy there because of blenders. I asked again to make sure i heard it right. Once again, she said it would be 875 in total. After I showed her receipt on my phone, she said “it’s 675” and we spent whole 5 minutes figuring out who is wrong and who is right. I git tired of bickering and asked what we could do about this, if i should wait for the transcript back. She said she can give me 200 soms in cash. WHAT WAS THE PINT OF THE WHOLE “WHO IS WRONG HERE” game if the issue could be resolved right away?? And also the workers are leaving 5+++ reviews and are looking down in other costumers in the 2GIS app! What kind of...
