Good Spirits — Restaurant in Bishkek City

A remarkably well-kept secret for a bar that is in the centre of town and just 5 metres from the main road through Bishkek.

For whiskey/whisky drinkers, this place is a haven. Nowhere else in the city offers such a choice. An eclectic mix of other spirits and drinks from around the world, and probably the only bar in Bishkek that has Pimms.

The highlight is the selection of in-house infused vodkas. There is one to suit every palate, but to me the crown belongs to the spiced version.

And all these goodies are served by a great team who know their products, and are friendly and chatty. Great decoration and seats at the bar. Low music making conversation possible.

This place is incredibly cool! Staff was very nice and every recommendation was amazing. I wanted to try more, but those little shots do hit you, so I have to come back tomorrow. I had been wanting to go for days, but I was too tired. I am so glad I made it!

Try the Portuguese cherry ginjinha, which is sour cherry with cinnamon, and the seasonal liquers. The Cafe Corretto was also great. Great coffee with great whiskey, so perfect. The Escolar sandwiches were great and filling! Smoked fish.

You know it's good when you have to talk yourself out of ordering more drinks and food :)...

Amazing bar with great drinks and quick service! 😊 The staff speak English and are very friendly. Visited the bar twice during a 4 day trip. I tried 4 of infused vodkas, which you can get as a shot or as a cocktail. Blue Berry Fields cocktail was divine! Good consistency in the cocktail between the 2 visits. Most cocktails are priced between 355 som to 425 som - which is extremely resonable.
