My wife and I stopped here for lunch following a recommendation from our tour guide. My wife ordered chalupas and I ordered the chyle rellenos. Both dishes were different than we are accustomed to, but OK we are in a foreign country. Every place has their own twist on things. What’s the price my wife was the fact that her plate was filled with lettuce. She did not want lettuce, so we asked the waitress to return the meal and remove the lettuce. Well, that’s where we ran into problems. My wife does not speak Spanish, and although I do, it was so noisy inside the restaurant I had a hard time understanding. Finally the manager came out. He told her in Spanish right in her face that she had ordered the dish and, regardless, she was going to have to pay for it. We could take it home or throw it away. My Chile rellenos came stuffed with hamburger as well as cheese, and the rice that was served with them was dry. I really didn’t care for it.
