We tried their pour over coffee and could choose the coffee beans(few international beans). However we are really disappointed. First we are coffee lover, always seeking for quality coffee places, or try local coffee beans when we are travelling. We could say we can recognize quality coffee and experienced barista. We choose to try pour over coffee as for us it is the best way to enjoy hot coffee and taste all the flavors. Second, the coffee we got served was tasteless because they pour either too much water or not enought coffee, we could see how the coffee colour throught the glass cup was light. The coffee beans might be good, but it was like drinking flavored water. Normally, with good coffe, even by pour over we should have had an after taste in mouth. Third, paying 85000 kip for this result was the most disappointing while we tried in Luang Prabang laos coffee beans for 60000 kip and it was amazing coffee. After asking the ladies working there, they told us that they are just following procedure (could guess they don't really know what they are doing, water was over boiled and they pour the water over the coffee not once but 3 times because there filters are not big(equipement is not pro then), and this is not the technique. We sat at the bar so we watched how the lady did) We do not recommend at all their pour over coffee (only tried this), because it is not well prepared and not at all worth the price. Wish they can improve and review price...
Read morei was greeted with a nice welcome and the ladies serving were nice too.
I had a coffee here which was an iced caramel latte with almond milk. The taste was good but I could’ve done with some more caramel syrup but that is just my preference and I should’ve asked for more.
The atmosphere was so cool all set in the 1920’s even the uniform and it was definitely a different experience. I would recommend visiting here the food looked nice too although I...
Read moreA very cozy, rustic cafe with a great ambiance to have a coffee or a small bite. Decorations were very unique and retro-themed, and music was even played from an antique gramophone. The drip coffee was very fragrant and there are different blends to choose from. Staff was very conscientious and focused when preparing, so the coffee served was really high standard. There’s also a hostel in the cafe, but we did not stay there to...
