They are trying to scam tourists. There are no prices written. Went to one shop and the woman said the box of pasta was 15.000 kip. Then when we bought 2 and payed with a 100.000 kip bill she gave us back 40.000 kip saying that it was 30.000. then i thought that it was maybe due to the language barrier and went to another shop, where the woman also increased the price after i asked 3 times to be sure. This duck was only 20.000kip (2.34$) and you get half of juicy, delicious, fingerlicious meat with crisp crunchy skin of duck. Read moreBefore Ban Anou Nightmarket had many stalls which provided the best and most inexpensive selections of the local foods. But now on 24th of May it seems that all the stalls are swept off. There can now only be found about three stalls as before those small shops were at least 15 in number. Hopelly they will begin to sell once again in the same volume as before! Old Review
