Stopped at this place to grab a quick bite while exploring the city. I tried the Khao Jee Pate which is the Lao version of the Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich. I took the half portion. It was average in taste, as it did not have much of the pate spread inside. But the bread was fresh and crispy. After having Banh Mi in Vietnam, my expectations were high, so this didn't quite measure up. But the Lao style Iced Coffee was fantastic. It was strong and refreshing. It really stood out with its unique blend and perfect balance. In fact I came back the next morning again...
