I decided on this place, mainly because it required a long walk from the old town and it booted the traditional Latvian food. Service was very pleasant the place is clean and tidy
The soup was pretty nice and very tasty. I did notice it was a bit on the sweet side towards the end in fact most of the food is not bad although of the dishes seem to have have added sugar and since I’m on a keto diet that wasn’t really welcome, but most people won’t notice it in fact most people will like it.
One thing that Letts sit down is the DECOR it’s a kind of modern DECOR but would look better with a more rustic feel to match the food style.

Pan fried saute potatoes, home made style, wild mushroom sauce, omg, stirred up all the good childhood memories. Shashlik, mixed vegetables, mushroom sauce, shuba salad and a glass of water came to €19+, maybe it was affordable some years back but inflation has hit very hard. Lido chains around Riga have better value for money, variety, atmosphere and service (unless you are seeking to replicate that “Soviet vibe”). Also it is not very foreigner friendly (i.e no English signage), so you really have no idea what to choose and are dependent on the translations...
