The worst Kebab/Doner I ever had in Riga, unfortunately. Yesterday I went with my friends for a late night meal at this place. Expecting nice atmosphere with tasty food. Since it was my first time at this place I went with something simple as Doner. Asked for a beef one and medium spice. For some unknown reason the worker put a price of 11.5Euros for the Doner on the terminal, while looking at the menu where there was a Doner sign it was saying either 7 or 10 Euros for one. This was already unsettling. I did not call it out because I trusted the person working there and expected good food. The Doner was made fast and the size of it was promising, however after one bite I realized how abnormally dry the meat is. First thought was "It is just my first bite and I need to get deeper into it, where there is all of the juice". My thinking was positive but the reality was opposite. Whole Doner was so incredibly dry that it was not possible for me to finish it. I really tried to look at it with respect but I have to admit it was a total disrespect towards me when a worker charges me more than 10 euros for such thing that is just simply uneatable.
The worker did treat us on the house with fries and baklava. Which was a nice compliment from him. The fries were also decent and the baklava was actually delicious. However, this move felt like the worker felt bad for charging us so much and giving us a bad quality product. He probably tried to make the situation better but why not making it transparent and better in first place... That in the end made me just simply throw out the Doner because eating a disrespect isn't on my checklist at such night.
Really disappointing. Hopefully the owners will read this and make a change. In conclusion, have to say that I will never come back to this place after such first interaction...
Read moreI just left this kebab place, and honestly, I had no choice but to eat here since I’m a tourist passing through Riga. This turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had. First of all, the server's attitude left much to be desired. I ordered a medium sandwich for 6 euros, but what I received was the size of a tiny sandwich—if even that! I was really disappointed, so I asked the server about it, and he just said, ‘That's it!’ I was shocked!
On top of that, the hygiene was terrible. A spider web fell on me, and I panicked, not to mention the mold and the dirty floors! This place is a nightmare! I’m truly shocked—this is Riga, Latvia, and a tiny sandwich costs 6 euros, which is more expensive than in Paris! It’s insane! Avoid this place...
Read moreGreat food, miserable service. Foodwise, one of the best kebab places in Riga, although the price is still quite high for a fast-food place, roughly 13€ for a meal. 90% of the times I have been there, the service is awful. The guys mumble underneath their nose, do not care about what you say, nor do they care to give you a proper response. Thus, about half the times they bring you food you did not order. 0 communication skills, 0 effort in client satisfaction, and passive aggressive responses when you want to clarify your order. I would understand on a busy day, but not every time I go there. Hopefully people working there learn how to appreciate guests who leave their...
