Hotel SAIDA - quality hostel — Hotel in Riga

Very clean and cozy, excellent location. People are rating service with three stars of less, and that makes no sense since there is literally no staff on site. It's not in their consept. And imo it works perfectly, this hotel is for people who want to have a nice, quiet visit in town. (If you're not capable to clean after yourself in the kitchen or feel the twisted need to mess up every place you go and have someone else clean it, maybe you staying here is not the best option for you - or the others staying in this hotel). With the email you get good instructions and a line to call to, in case there was anything from with the room. That clearliness and the fact this place was absolutely spotless gets the 5 service stars easily. All promises fulfilled.

This is a comfortable and fully modernised place to stay, not too far from the old city of Riga – about a 20 minute walk or a 6 euro taxi fare. Technically it should be described as a high-class hostel rather than a hotel, since it comprises individual en suite rooms plus a very well-equipped communal area for food preparation and dining. Self-guided entry through gate and door codes was easy to follow and execute, beds were comfy and the place was well heated, though an additional fan heater was provided in the rooms. I stayed here for four nights. The place is new, fresh and clean. It has a common kitchen, where you can store and prepare some food or drink. The rooms are in general quiet with the exception of Saturday night, where music from a local bar was loud until late. I do not know if it is common or it happened due to the good weather.
