Amazing place!! If you considern going to the museum you shuld visit RSU Anatomy Museum. One of the most modern anatomy museums in Europę. You will find clear informations about exhibits and also nice ans helpfull staff. In this place you will not only discover how human body looks for real, but you will also find interactive parts of exhibition, that show you the blood flow, make your personalized post card, and lots more! They also made their own app- you can collect exhibits by scanning QR code, and then discover more about the objects. Information stays in the app after you exit, so you can come back to this even weeks later.

This is genuinely the best museum I have ever been to. The staff were so lovely on entry and explained everything really well. The museum is well laid out- it is very clean and decorated well, the artifacts are well organised and have clear explanations in English. The anatomy they have displayed in the museum is very very interesting. I had the chance to see things I’ve never seen before and will never seen again. It was very educational and eye opening, although at times a bit sensitive. Tickets are incredibly cheap for how amazing this museum is. It is definitely the best museum in Riga! I cannot recommend it enough.

A must place to visit if you like anatomy and are interested in how our bodies work and maybe why they sometimes do not))) The museum has a wide collection of diferent real items, as well as a patilogy floor in the basement. I visited them during a summer festival Samaņa Anatomija and had an oportunity to sketch several of the exibits. The team working in the museum is wonderful and can tell you about all expositions! Do not miss a chance to go and exolore :)

Absolutely stellar. Didn't expect that. It is small, yes, but very modern with superbly fun and engaging components - like a 'build a poster' station or a scanner that scans your movements and show you how skeleton moves with the moves. LOTS of human bits to witness, without anything held back, you'll be able to see up close virtually any human component. On the second floor, where photography is forbidden, you will bask in some more... uncanny exhibits in form of deformed and mutated specimens. Not for the queasy. Also, STRONGLY recommend uploading an app beforehand, as it offers a fun scavenger hunt kind of game with extra info....

Of course anatomy of real people isn't for the faint hearted and I don't understand why people visit it with small kids but as a healthcare student @RSU I really appreciate that I can have great discount and prepare for my exams properly while observing real bodies and see cool info graphics that make me amazed at how complicated yet beautiful our bodies are and feel that I made a right choice for future profession. If I had some criticism - exhibitions could be bigger, especially in pathology section, but hey, providing samples is not that easy, so considering that and the way they manage to preserve them it is truly a...
