Roadster Diner — Restaurant in Jbeil

We came here to cool down after a long hot walk in the Fort, Old Souq, and Marina. We planned to order drinks but ended up buying 4 meals with drinks. The meals were all great except the white sauce pasta was just Okay. Low cal Tuna was a hit with everyone and a cheap option. Fish platter was a little soft as though it was boiled but with a bit of salt and pepper it was very good. We also ordered the appetizer platter which is a GREAT deal except they were out of onion rings as they are getting rid of them. Ramy Lahoud was our server and we were glad he was. A very pleasant and professional guy. Even though he was very busy, he wouldn't pass our table without checking on us. When I complained about getting the wrong flavoured iced tea, he quickly made things right even though it turned out I was mistaken and did have the order correct. Ramy is the kind of employee that makes a business a success when combined with a good product....

Very slow and bad customer service. I went to Roadster Diner two days ago to try it if the food was good. I ordered half an hour ago inside the restaurant, and no waiter came to deliver what I ordered. An hour later, the order arrived at the table. I ordered all kinds of burgers and sandwiches. To be honest, it was clear from the taste that the food had been prepared beforehand. (This means that the order was not prepared directly. It means that they only heated the food in the microwave, and this was very clear from the taste. It means that the food was originally prepared and cold.) I don't want to go back to eating in this same restaurant. The food is never delicious, to be honest, because after I left the restaurant the second day. I started cursing myself because I was poisoned by the processed, processed food that I ate. It deserves a rating that I give it...

I am a regular customer of roadster and have always enjoyed my meals there in the past, however I have been facing repeated issues recently that I can no longer ignore. Every time I raise a concern I am told that someone will look into it and that improvements will be made, but nothing ever changes. My most recent experience was today when I ordered a salad and found a piece of plastic in it. I’m confused how this happens, especially when you consistently claim that your staff wears masks and gloves and maintains cleanliness. It is frustrating to find such issue in the food.
