Memory Of Time in Byblos is a captivating museum that offers a fascinating journey through the world of fossils. The collection is impressive and beautifully displayed. The highlight of the visit was the storekeeper, who, despite his young age, possesses an incredible knowledge of the exhibits and shares it with such enthusiasm and politeness. His well-mannered and informative guidance greatly enhanced the experience. This museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in natural history and fossils. The store offers pieces for sale, and despite the slightly high prices, those pieces are very unique.

The Fossil Museum in Jbeil is a super cool spot to check out. It’s packed with all kinds of fossils, from fish to plants, that are millions of years old. It’s amazing how well preserved they are and the stories they tell about ancient times. They even do live fossil excavation demos, which are awesome to watch. Plus, there’s a little shop where you can buy unique fossil souvenirs with certificates of authenticity. I visited the Fossil Museum many times, and I really miss the sense of wonder and discovery it offers. it’s a fun and educational spot for both kids and adults.

A small museum, but it specializes in fossils that date back to 100 million years, the source of fossils is one area, you have a diversity of many types of fossilized fish and plants, the beauty of the place is that you can buy fossils at reasonable prices that are difficult to obtain anywhere in the world, entry is free, photography The museum is forbidden, the pictures are from the store, if you are interested in discovering new places you can follow me.

Very enriching experience for all ages. I came here with group of school kids and all explanations were adapted to their age and they got to try to get their own fish fossils through a hands on experience. Not to be missed when you are in Byblos and even worth to book a tour in advance and go to the site where fish fossils are found. Pierre and his brother are The owners of the shop and they are so passionate about their job that they make you love it!!

An expert paleontologist explained us about the fish fossils and the work of this association. They have a large private collection (meaning is not for sale) with fish fossils from the mountains of Byblos that are millions of years old.
