Last Thursday 4-7-2024, I took my son and his 3 friends to spend a day at fun planet Byblos. To cut the story short, after I paid for the tickets ( 5 tickets ), the receptionist asked why do we have a cake? My reply was we are going to spend the day, have lunch and I want to cut the cake for my son’s birthday after lunch. Automatically the reply was we take 40$ cake service. I was surprised and asked why. The reply was we will offer you the plates, a birthday song and sing for your kid. I was literally stunned and replied then cancel the cake, I don’t want to. She suggested that they talk to the manager. Well no offense the manager came and he was only a max 20 year old young man who said nothing, just nodded and left. (I know I will get the same automated reply that they have birthday packages that I don’t want them, it’s just a cake that I want to have normally as it’s common in almost all places in Lebanon). As for the safety of the slides, they weren’t up to the standards. The kids hurt their backs while sliding and while falling in the water. The water was somehow shallow and the slides were rough. And to add on that, I wanted to take a shower after swimming and there was kid’s poop under one of the showers. I told the waitress and she went on solving the issue. Later on the kids came to me to tell me that there is also poop in the pool. Nevertheless, let me just give credit to the nice waitress that was in our section. She was really nice and hospitable. Finally, I’m 100 percent sure that it’s going to be my last visit...

I visited Byblos Fun Planet this week and it’s clearly built with kids in mind. The place has a unique vibe, full of playful energy and colorful details that make it exciting for young visitors. The entrance already sets the mood—bright, welcoming, and fun.
👟 The green floor mats added a cheerful touch, making the space feel like an oversized playground. That said, they retained a lot of heat and temperature felt pretty intense.
👶 It’s a solid spot for kids to enjoy themselves, but a few things could be better:
🏊 Safety & Staff Attitude: When I asked the swimming coach which age groups should wear vests, the response I got was surprisingly rude. Also, the inflatable slide area is quite large and active—there should be more than one coach to ensure safety. The orange slide, especially, felt risky.
🕑 Duration of Activities: After two hours, some kids started to get bored. A small twist—like rotating games or a scheduled break with something new—could help keep the excitement going longer.
💸 Pricing Concerns: Entrance fees are high, and the cantine prices were also steep. If one were more affordable, the overall experience would feel more balanced and accessible for families.
All in all, Byblos Fun Planet offers a fun experience for kids, but with a few tweaks in safety, engagement, and pricing, it could become...
Read moreI had a bad experience in this waterpark as their main purpose is to collect money only. There is no signs on each slide to specify the appropriate age for each one. I came with my 2 children (5-7 years) and 1 baby (1 year and a half). The owner was insisting on considering that my baby should be considered as 1 person and charge him 15$, as well as the maid that she came with us , i was also considered as 1 person and they took also 15$ and when i asked the manager/owner, why is that as she will not use any pool or slide, she will only take care of my baby. He said: just by opening the door of this resort (as he considered that this waterpark is a resort 🤪) everyone has to pay 15$ or if u don't want to pay for the maid you shouldn't bring her with you. This act is very rude and unprofessional. Whenever you go in lebanon on the beaches the maids and the babies less then 2 years are not charged. Even a baby less then 2 years is not charged for airplane tickets. But in this waterpark they are really on...
