Thanna b beirut — Restaurant in Minet el Hosn

Probably one of the best services and restaurants in Beirut, however left with a weird paying experience. I give really wanted to give this a 5 stars because the service was soo amazing. The staff are world class and the food is great. Their personality, attention to detail and generosity was outstanding!

The only issue I had was at the very end, the bill was confusing to read as there were two and the price was written in USD & LBP. I asked the server how much total was and he said 192$. The math didn't add up. I then asked again and i was told 143 was the actual total. I then realised the server probably included the tip amount in his original price, which is weird. Because I decide how much i tip..

I asked them to split a 100 bill into 10’s, 20’s so i can tip 20$ and I was given back a 50$ note, 5$ note and some LBP. So i left the 5$ and LBP and felt abit embarrassed over it all.

I acknowledge there was some language barrier but I expect such a nice place to give just one total and let me decide...

Thanna is such a great spot for Lebanese food! The flavors are rich and authentic, and every bite tastes fresh and delicious.
