El Barrio Halės Turgus — Restaurant in Vilnius

Wonderful place to have a taste of latin cuisine. I was served by the owner, who happens to be Venezuelan, and his service was second to none. Food is just as you I would have it back home, the arepa was absolutely the best. I almost thought I was back home. It definitely brought back many childhood memories. I went on a Wednesday, which is probably not the best day to measure the atmosphere, but I know this market is very trendy, and surely it is more lively Friday to Sunday. Oh, before I forget, please do yourself a favour and try the homemade kombucha drink. It will blow your mind how good it is. Last, not not least, they also have a wide range of vegetarian food. This place is great! It is a small place inside the market of Hales Turgus. All vegetarian food Latin American style. The owner is very friendly and relaxed (and speaks Spanish of course). You can sit on the terrace opposite of the restaurant inside the market and eat your food. A little Venezuela inside of Lithuania. Good prices, good food, and they sell also chocolates for dessert if you like. I recommend it if you like something different from mainstream Vilnius. Very tasty vegetarian meals! and fresh kombucha makes it even better. The hand-made chocolates are extraordinary and they even have real organic ceremonial cacao! I recommend trying this...
