Snack Time Sàrl — Restaurant in Clervaux

This place has one of the worst services my girlfriend and I have ever received. Already when we arrived, we were met with a dissatisfied look by the head waiter (who also looked like he was the owner of the place) when we indicated that we wished to stay only for drinks and not for a meal. When we later asked if he would unmute the volume of the TV that was put there to follow the Euorpean Football Championship once the match would start, we were told that he would not. When other guests then asked if there really was no possibility for this, they were told that they have the image afterall and asked if that wasn't enough. When my girlfriend replied (in a friendly way, with a smile) that it wasn’t really, he said in an irritated and unfriendly manner to her: “Alright, good luck [elsewhere] then, bye bye!” and turned his back on us. We immediately left, flabbergasted, and didn’t order anything anymore, of course. We had to pick between our hotel in Clervaux to go eat or this little local steakhouse. I am glad we picked this little place instead of the hotel. It is a little on the expensive side but everything is in Luxembourg. Me and my wife had the crispy cheeseburger and we did not regret our order at all. We loved the burger which was topped with fried union, had a soft but not greasy bun and had a delicious layer of cheese. Definitely top 5 burger i’ve ever had. I am a vegetarian and went to Snack Time Sàrl with little expectations. They had limited veg options as expected but to my surprise, everything I ordered was spot on. The tomato soup was a smooth and creamy deliciousness. The vegetarian burger (served with fries and salad) was simply amazing. The vegetable burger patty was really well done and fries were crisp and yummy. The cheesecake and coffee was also pretty good.

I found no reviews around vegetarian food here so here’s to hoping more fellow vegetarians get to try their limited but...
