We dined On Wednesday 18june 2025 , 8pm I am absolutely appalled by the treatment we received at this place , particularly from one staff member who completely ruined our dining experience.
We were enjoying our meal when we politely went to ask for a refill, only to be publicly shouted at by a staff member who aggressively told us we had "exceeded the 90-minute dining limit." First of all, if there was truly a time limit issue, a simple and polite reminder would have sufficed. Instead, this employee chose to yell at three young women in front of other customers, making us feel humiliated and unwelcome.
What kind of hospitality is this? If time limits are enforced, it should be communicated RESPECTFULLY , not by shouting at customers as if we were breaking some kind of law. We were not trying to overstay; we were simply unaware, and even if we had passed the limit, there is no excuse for such unprofessional and aggressive behavior.
A simple "Excuse me, your dining time has ended" would have been more than enough. Instead, we were treated like nuisances. The lack of basic courtesy and customer service is shocking, and it completely overshadowed any positive aspects of the meal.
Zen Korean BBQ used to be my monthly visit , and my company dinner held at their place too, we regularly return to your place and we get this kind of treatment . Confronted to other staff , he kept saying sorry to us , but what we need is the staff that yelling at us have to apologies to us ! I will not be returning, and I strongly caution others who expect even the most basic level of respect when dining out. Management should seriously reconsider how they train their staff, because this kind of behavior is...
Read moreI recently revisited this restaurant after a positive experience a few months ago, but unfortunately, this visit left me feeling disappointed and frustrated due to the incredibly slow service.
Service Waiters were friendly. However, the restaurant was clearly understaffed, and it showed. Refills for items were painfully slow. Some side dishes such as beansprouts which were readily available were served quickly. We had to request kimchi ramyeon almost four times, and it finally arrivedâhalf-portionedâtoward the end of our meal. Drinks also took a long time to be refilled.
Suggestion : A self-service station could greatly enhance the experience, allowing customers to grab essentials like drinks or side dishes without relying on the waiters.
Food We opted for the RM45 buffet package. The fried chicken and side dishes were decent, but the quality of the bbq meat was disappointingâthin cuts, and the freshness seemed questionable. To make matters worse, one of my friends experienced a stomachache after the meal.
This visit didnât live up to expectations, and I hope the restaurant addresses these issues to improve the experience for...
Read moreBeen here for few times. If you need a good atmosphere to dine then this is the place. Staff service was good but will be interrupted during high traffic time. The green tea should not be charging at RM7 per cup although it is refillable and we rather you give us free water instead. đ
Now about the food.
a. Fresh meat. (highlight) b. We love the Kimchi rice! (can I know what's that is called in Korean?) c. The Ramyun was good! d. We had the Tobokki and a beef stew as well when we visited. Both also good. e. The side condiments quality was food too.
All the above are refillable but there is something that we don't like as well
a. Time restriction. (we never experienced that in Thailand. No time limitations) b. We are shown the bill before we decide to leave. That's a very negative point. c. Maybe next round the restaurant can provide beef selection as well? Is that normal to eat Beef BBQ in Korea?
Apart from that. Overall was a good...
