In my quest for authentic Arabic cuisine, I stumbled upon a gem near Ampang—Berkat Madinah Restaurant. Intrigued by my wife's past positive experience here, albeit many years ago, we decided to revisit for lunch, and what a delightful experience it turned out to be!
Arriving around 1 pm, the restaurant was buzzing with patrons, a testament to its popularity. Despite the crowd, we swiftly secured a table. Opting for a feast, we ordered a quarter roasted chicken with fries, Arabic salad, beef shawarma platter with fries, beef fatayer, mint tea, and a refreshing yogurt drink for the three of us.
The portions were generous, and the flavors were nothing short of spectacular. Unable to finish, we requested a takeaway, ensuring none of the goodness went to waste. The mint tea offered a refreshing note, while the yogurt drink, with its delightful tanginess, acted as a perfect palate cleanser.
The staff at Berkat Madinah were not just attentive; they exuded warmth and friendliness. The expansive and immaculate restaurant provided a comfortable dining ambiance.
In conclusion, Berkat Madinah is a definite recommendation for anyone seeking an exquisite Arabic culinary experience. I'll be sharing this find with friends who appreciate exceptional Arabic cuisine. Kudos to the team for making our lunch...

I recently visited an Arabic restaurant in Malaysia that exceeded my expectations with its flavorful dishes and inviting ambiance. The star of the meal was undoubtedly the shawarma – juicy, well-seasoned, and wrapped in soft, warm pita bread. The tender chicken was marinated with a perfect blend of Middle Eastern spices, and every bite was bursting with flavor. The creamy garlic sauce and tangy pickles added a delightful contrast, making it a must-try dish.
In addition to the shawarma, the chicken rice was another standout. The chicken was grilled to perfection, tender and moist, with a subtle hint of smokiness. Served with fragrant, fluffy rice infused with spices, this dish had a rich, comforting flavor. The combination of fresh salad and traditional sauces enhanced the meal, giving it a balanced and authentic touch.
The restaurant itself had a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere, with friendly staff who were attentive and welcoming. Whether you’re a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or just looking to try something new, this spot is a gem for anyone craving a hearty and delicious meal. Highly recommended for shawarma and chicken...
