Madinah Restaurant & Café — Restaurant in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

Been dining for more than 10 times for the past year. Parking is a hurdle though.

Food : great especially the premium Mandy Rice (both chicken and lamb). However, the former is more tender. The mushroom soup is awesome, coupled with the garlic bread. The shawarma is also another worthy dish. it's sizeable and goes great with the garlic sauce. The spaghetti is just so-so. Nothing to wow about. The Turkish coffee, is "something" else. Very Kaw!

Service : the foreign waiters don't pack any smile. I dined here so many times and they don't even recognize their regular patrons. It is a very "just eat and go" culture. I don't know. The new local Malay female cashier is friendly though! 👏👍

Environment : quite a brightly lit restaurant with clean restrooms.

Bonus : get the Lazada vouchers with almost 50% discount. Really worth it.

This restaurant is cozy. Have highchairs for kids. The surrounding is bright and proper lighting. This is one of the cheaper arabic restaurant I tried. They use point to win price. Great. The problem for is parking.

Food: I ordered family pack for 2. One Chicken Mendi and one Lamb Kabsa. This pack is only RM33. Great deal for me. Love the menu.

Drink:

Very satisfying meal, surprised by the drink selection, ordered banana and date milkshake both taste phenomenal. The hummus is smooth and flavourful, the lamb & beef kebab is so lit plus a salad comes in a big portion. Overall very good value for price. Must try more items next time. The ambience is a bit too quite tho hahah, one little suggestion is by playing some light Arabic music can enlighten the mood a little and also include a dessert selection...
