3rd visit Came for dinner with the fam and realised that it's now slightly less packed than previous visits but still popular.
This time we ordered their seafood fried glass noodles, pineapple fries rice, moo ping, fried chicken wings and stir fry mixed vegetables to be shared among 3 pax.
The glass noodles were delicious, flavourful and they don't skimp on the seafood. Portion wise, it will be sufficient for one person if dining solo. As for the fried rice, it was quite good too - however the only grouse is that they have seasoned it with curry powder - which was not something we prefer. Might be different for others though. Similar to the noodles, they don't skimp on the seafood and they were quite fresh too.
No complaints on the moo ping and chicken wings. Our usual orders when we come and they were great. Highly recommended.
As for the stir fry mixed vegetables, nothing extraordinary cos they are just the usual garlic stir fry. However can taste the wok hey so it's a good plate of stir fry.
2nd visit Came here again and ordered some different dishes to try. This time we had the tomyam seafood soup, pandan chicken, salt and pepper squid, belacan kangkung, and two carb dishes - fried rice and fried glass noodles. Totally over ordered yes, cos we were greedy
1st visit A small, no fuss eatery serving authentic Thai food. The wait for the food was super long so be prepared to wait. Cost was alright, 'cheaper' than Jimmy and Nong but portions are much smaller so I guess if you order more cost would come up to be the same. There were three of us and we ordered a seafood fried rice, fish sauce fried chicken, four heavenly kings, and moo ping. I also had the red ruby dessert but it was tad too sweet for me. Bill came up to be...
Read moreHighly recommended by my landlord so I came with my housemate to give it a try. Two of us ordered fried kangkung, fried chicken with pineapple sauce, red tom yam soup, two bbq satay and two thai coconut drinks. We must be starving and lost our minds XD While we were surprised with the food portion and its presentation, we couldn't finish everything and had to tapao back. Guess what, the portion we ordered actually can feed four people! It costs RM 80+. We went at 6pm and there were only two tables occupied but it became full around 7pm. Very good business but the waiters and waitresses are still friendly and smiling all the time. =D But!! The thai coconut price is not correct. It was RM 3 in the menu (and that's why we ordered 'cos it is so cheap what) but the bill said RM 6.50. So yeah~ Overall, it is definitely a pleasant dining experience! Check out their special lighting...
Read moreActually real authentic Thai food made by Thai ppl. From what I've tried and seen the food is generally above average tasting and well worth the price. The two dishes I'd highlight are this I think Tomyam - the tomyam is the star of the show. Id say for most ppl is at the right sweet spot of being sweet, sour, and spicy with a nice background of the herbal notes from lemongrass, lime leaves, etc. Although for me id prefer it suuuuper spicy, the seafood portion is also decent and generally well cooked. 8/10 Crispy pork belly This one was abit disappointing compared to the stellar Tom yam. It's actually pretty nice and flavourful ,however the skin wasn't as crispy as expected. 6/10
The Thai tea was excellent tho and I'd recommend having that.
Overall I'd come again for sure to sample more...
