As some other customers pointed out, the hygiene factor of this outlet has to be drastically improved. Have gone here a few times (as its near to my house) and all along have been having tad average experiences but this time around, it's so bad that I have to speak out.
Walked in to take-away this afternoon and first impressions by server and manager is that they are busy talking among themselves and just poor service orientation. Subpar service aside, their sushi are just.... 'One of a kind'
Dug in when I got home and upon eating the first piece (Octupus sushi), I found that there was a darn strand of nylon kind of plastic in the octopus filling itself... Like what?!!!
As for the white tuna, it was not very fresh as it had some hints of sourness, though very mild. Just as I thought everything I had today is bad enough, even the unagi sushi had a bone in it still 🤣 I rarely post unpleasant experiences on Google review but this is just too much of a let down for me to keep it to myself.
To conclude it all, if hygiene and decent attention to detail & food quality is important to you, I recommend you to look elsewhere for sushis. Ever since they opened like 5 or so years ago, the quality of service and food has been on a down slope I can say, last visit ever and rightly so 🤨

Came here a few times with friends who like coming here - didn’t really focus to give a proper review.. but when I did give some observation and proper tasting this time, it was below my expectations. Please note that the food review below is just my humble opinion.
We ordered our usual sushis and meals from its competitors to test out: the Mentai sauce was ok but not as good crabsticks were okay ebi tempura inari was abit simply put together and very salty rice in general was wayyy too sticky cols Soba was below par curry rice i left the review on the photo attached
My worst review goes to the sushi guys; Grateful that you’re stationed in the open to be transparent in how you make sushi but: one of you dropped your knife, we made eye contact, yet you had the audacity to wipe your knife with just a cloth and not even washing it - and continued to cut your sushi? 😅 another one of you spat in your basin. Maybe that is normal? Idk?? But at least rinse it off yea?
Aside from that, Cashier did not give a vibe of friendliness.. maybe it was a bad day?
So far the only plus were the waiters and waitress who were polite 😅

Hygiene 2/5 - toilet is not clean. Staff 2/5 - staffs are playful and not committed to work Sushi 1/5 - too salty, sushi rice does not taste good, salmon was not fresh. Ordered food (tendon and salmon porridge) 4/5 - definitely taste better than some places in town.
The worst part of our lunch is not just the low quality sushi served and bad hygiene, but the chef forgot to remove bamboo skewers inside the fried onions in our tendon meal. I ordered this meal for my son, luckily i was the one that took a bite and had minor bleeding in my mouth.
Staff were aware and said chef forgot to remove it, but hey, the cashier gave discounts on 2 green teas drinks during payment to compensate my experience.
I was not in mood to fight for full discount on the meal because i have no intention to comeback or recommend the place. I would prefer to go to Sushi Mentai which not far from this restaurant, a better place.
