Quan Ice Cream & Coffee House — Restaurant in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

It was my first and last eating here in this restaurant. I was coming all the way here to Pandan Indah branch to meet my friends since they recommended this restaurant.

FIRST : my friend reached here earlier and asking we have total 3 person and wanna have a seat for three of us but your staffs told us that no we don't have and cannot move around the table in the impolite way and she showed so frustrated when my friend still confirming whether to change place or not and the staff just put the menu rudely onto the table.

SECOND : I have reached the restaurant and I have requested for a glass of ice because I have drink my own water but the chinese staff came and passed me the glass of ice and then she told me Sir, here do not allow outside drinks then okay I told her I am not drinking then and I just put here. BUT after that another chinese female came and yelled at me rudely that Sir, if you want to drink, bring your drink go outside drink and then only come back then I replied I am not drinking then she shouted back and said you are drinking and she walked away. After that she keep staring at me. THIS IS SO RUDE !

I wanted to ask how your management team train your staffs ? are you guys training your staff to treat customer like this ? Chase your customer away ? Really bad experiences for me and my friends here despite this is my first time here !

One of your foreigner female staff is good and way better than your two of your chinese staffs ! Initially I ordered grilled chicken chop then add on chicken but your chinese staff did not advise that actually I can choose platter more worth it but I was informed by your foreigner female staff. I think you should have more of this good...

Their coconut milkshake worth the try.

Honestly, I thought this is more like dessert house but apparently they also serve food. From asian fusion to western. And for desserts, you may choose from ice-cream combination with waffle, pancakes, fruits and all do looks tempting but me and my partner choose humbly as my main intention is just to have ice cream and this place come across as we google. We had pancakes with assorted fruits, celebrity brownie with your selected ice-cream flavor (1 scoop) and for drinks, we ordered coconut milkshakes and hot peach tea.

Fine place to hangout for brunch, teatime, dinner or dessert. I really enjoy looking around their wall as I love their photo frames with funny quotes. This place are super huge as they also have 2nd floor.

Overall this place is okay for hangout. Nothing really outstanding from other cafe except for their fancy photo...

First, the bathroom is nasty. and I start feeling nauseous after drinking their green tea latte...

Next, personal opinions:

The price point is also high and overall experience is that this is not the coffee shop youngsters will love, it is more like a dinner spot. I do love their efforts on decorating the restaurant into a spot that is filled with retro posters, but because of the toilet, the floor, the texture of the table that is like the latex thing that make the table sticky, really discounted all those posters and atmosphere.

We ordered spaghetti alio olio, harshbrown, espresso, green tea latte small, peach tea small. It costed us 59.40 total for 3 drinks, one main dish and one snack dish. For me that is a bit overpriced for something that tasted so ordinary, but there is also a chance that it is because I didn't order the good stuff
