Eat all you can seafood steamboat buffet dining that opens at 5pm daily. The current per head price for adult is rm35 (at time of this review) & half price for children age below 12. Choose from fresh shrimp, crab, a variety of whole fish, squids, fish fillet to chicken meat and beef. There are plenty of fresh vegetables, noodles, eggs and variety of processed seafood products like crab stick, fish balls, squid balls, fish cakes and crab balls. There are complementary fried rice, fried noodles, fried chicken, sushi rolls and kimchi to complement the steamboat. There are plenty of sauces that you can mix to your test. The desert is make your own ais kacang, there's a soda dispenser machine, hot tea and coffee and plain water pots. There's a grill where you can also grill your food. They are using normal pots for the soup instead of the usual steamboat pot but they use electric induction cooker to heat the soup that comes in tom yam, chicken or anchovies flavours. I think using electric induction cooker is safer than the portable usual gas type cooker but what happens when there's a blackout?? I hope they have their own generator. The place is an open air concept and doesn't have air conditions, only ceiling fans. But the dining experience was nice though and recommended for family dining or dining...
Read moreIts a good value for money eatery spot if steamboat (Buffet) is your thing. The layout is quite clean and very family/group orientated. The food spread is fresh with the usual steamboat varieties and is more than enough to satisfy any hungry needs but of course please do keep the food wastage to a minimum. The cooking stove was convienient and easy to use and probably less hazardous than those normal fire stoves used in other steamboat restaurant. The place is quiet noisy with people constantly up and about getting their fix but its hardly a nuisance being it an opened eatery joint consisting of mostly families and large groups so that is expected. The only problem tht i felt was an inconviniece is tht they only had one small sized grilling stove for you to grill whatever it is you wanted to grill or pan fry, so having another one wud definitely cut the waiting time. Overall, its a good place for anyone looking for a wholesome eating experinece while sharing good moments together with the family...
Read moreHad dinner at New QQ Steamboat Café yesterday — solid spot for affordable buffet-style steamboat and BBQ. Plenty of choices: fresh seafood, meats, veggies, fried snacks, free-flow drinks, and ice cream.
We went with tom yum and tomato broth, both flavourful enough. Highlights were the fresh prawns, beef slices, and crispy fried chicken wings. BBQ section was a nice touch.
Place is casual and spacious, but can get a bit greasy during peak hours. Service was decent, and for around RM38–48 per person, it’s good value.
Plenty of parking spaces at the back as well 👍🏼
Please get the Fried Chicken. It’s really good, a shame that it’s not cooked with diced garlic but can’t really complain.
As someone who loves a good BBQ Steamboat joint, the way the portable stove just wobbles when you tried to flip the meat is not really giving unlike other joints with...
