this is my first visit and will be the last. the staff is not friendly and there is no instructions on how to order whether at the table with menu or order at the counter. no signage it is a self service and don't have any signage of where is the pick up counter. When ask at the counter what can we order for food, the casher only point her finger to the main price menu full of bread and drinks above her. but we found out actually they do have rice n noodle n other stuff. they are basically just unfriendly n not helpful, don't expect to have positive interactions with them as a customer. Their bread is a must-try! The kaya butter toast (which I totally forgot to snap a photo of) and the French toast were both so good! I even bought a loaf of bread to bring back to KL. Just buy it,you won’t regret it! 🍞
But… please skip the laksa. Honestly, it wasn’t good at all. 🤣 I’m not a picky eater, but this one really missed the mark. I’d rather they take it off the menu and focus more on what they do best : bread, noodles, and rice stations. I heard those are worth trying, so I’ll definitely be back...
Read moreThis is the third Fook Yuen branch I’ve tried. Ordered the wholemeal bread with butter and peanut with half boiled eggs. Tasted good.
This is probably the branch with the best environment. Bright, spacious, good ventilation. The service was quick. Got my food in less than 5 minutes
The downsides: -the cashier staff wasn’t friendly. Didn’t smile at all. No greetings or saying thank you -no free tissue. You have to buy tissue packets from the counter. But free tissue is available at other branches. Not sure why this branch is an exception -the toilet seat was very dirty
