Summary: Well-maintained and beautiful aquariums. Food is below average. Waiters need more training.
The Goods: Aquariums are clean and the fishes look relatively healthy. Ample parking. No matter what table you get, you have a clear view of the aquariums. Food portion is huge. Big variety of menu items. Whatever you want, western to local to japanese, all also got. Free refill on water and sparkling water.
The Bads: Food is pricey. It may be big portion, but the taste is worse than food court level. So it doesn’t justify the price. Waiter accidentally spilled my dish on my table. Without apologising or saying anything, she walks away and asks another waiter to help in cleaning her mess. Nobody mentioned whether the dish will be replaced or not.
Would recommend for this restaurant to: A. improve their menu to be more on theme with their restaurant (eg: seafood) B. This place seems to be frequently visited by couples celebrating special occasions. For the expensive food pricing, the restaurant could offer something like fine dining themed. C. Train their staff better to handle mishaps. Mistakes are normal, but not apologising, not telling the customer what they’ll do to rectify the mistake, and asking another staff to clean up their mess is rude and unprofessional.
Overall, you can come here if you just want the experience of the environment. If you’re expecting good food or top service, then you’ll be...
Read moreThis restaurant is located in an industrial area. Parking is very easy even during dinner time, The parking area is also well lit at night. Reservation is highly recommended, many people come here for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, dating, events and etc. The vibe is really cool and relaxing seeing all the fishes swimming in the salt water tank. Staff provide small tablets for the menu. The menu has lots of unique and creative names for their dishes. There are also lots of drinks options as well, which is a great spot to hang out and chat with friends. There are western food options as well as local rice or noodle dishes as well. We ordered wat tan ho, Mee goreng, pineapple fried rice and lamb chop. While the presentation of the food looks very nice, but the taste of the food is just mediocre or so so. Overall, it was a fun and pleasant experience and will consider coming back here for special occasions. Price is also reasonable as well, if you come here often worth signing up for their membership for deals and discounts. The membership is on an app on the...
Read moreThe first ocean themed restaurant in town or maybe whole Sabah. 🥳 I like the atmosphere and ambience. Feeling like a mermaid..🧜🏻♀️🧜🏼♂️ 😂 So luxury and so does the food pricing. 😬 Menu selections from tablet, rare and so classy.. But what dissapoint me the most is, they divide their menu into breakfast, lunch, dinner and take away. When you come for dinner, you cannot order menu other than dinner section. 🤣 What is this?? 😓 Why not open for all menu? Remember, not all the menu you saw on their FB page can be ordered when dine in. 🤧 Luckily, we managed to order Char Kueh Teow from the take away section, thanks to the Chef's courtesy. At first they want to serve it in takeaway box, so funny dine in but served in tapau. 🤣Good that they notice it quickly and served on plate. Hello, its common sense la.. Food wise, very generous portion and tasty but not for the pizza.. 🤪 Beverage glasses and cups are so tiny, come on.. make it bigger please 🤣 I hope you can reconsider and find solutions for the...
