Food is very good! In my opinion, this is the best spot for Tuaran mee. And to my knowledge, I don’t know anywhere else in KK which offers lihing (local rice wine) Tuaran mee. I love their Tuaran mee texture, flavourful sang nyuk. The lihing was extra strong today! And I always top it off with a sunny side up. The gooey egg yolk just elevates the whole dish 🤤

The portion is huge! Definitely enough for two ladies. The only downside is the environment. It’s an old kopitiam, which gives it a nice vintage, traditional vibe but it’s very very hot 🥵 the cleanliness can also be improved.

The attitude of the waitress and the boss is alright. Not very friendly but not rude either.

I still go there quite often, and it’s my husband’s favourite whenever he comes to KK. We love the food so much that we’re willing see pass the hot environment 😅

Still highly recommended, especially to tourists 👍🏻 it’s absolutely...

Not being Sabahan, I can't compare with the original of course (at this moment), but I really enjoyed it here. This place is a coffee shop so expect humidity and heat.

As far as the noodle goes, delicious! Springy and chewy, the noodles are definitely something you need to try if you are in Sabah. The fact that it comes with generous fresh tasty fish and prawn (I ordered the seafood version) is an added bonus.

Should you add lehing? That's a difficult decision to make. Lehing is a kind of local rice wine so its addition gives the noodle an added kick to the palate in terms of taste. I loved it. It opens up a dimension to its taste profile. But this is one of those individualistic decision that may not sit well with everyone.

Still, it's a noodle I highly recommend you try in Sabah, and then make your...

I had a really bad experience at this restaurant - their hygiene standards were extremely poor. I saw leftover food scattered all over the floor, and the dishes weren't properly cleaned (I could still see soap detergent stains on the bowls). On top of that, the staff were disinterested and even borderline rude. When I couldn't finish my food and requested to take it home, I overheard them complaining about it. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Also, the taste of the food was just okay, nothing special. The pork was bland, and the soup didn't taste like the typical mee soup I was expecting. Overall, I was very disappointed, and I won't be coming...

Place was not full when we arrived on sunday morning. I ordered the mixed tuaran mee and the seafood tuaran mee. Food arrived in less than 10 mins. Service lady was friendly. However the food was a bit tasteless to me and the noodles was a bit burnt. Protions was considered quite a lot. Verdict. Food was OK, service was tiptop, environment was oklah.. Nothing fancy. But I probably wld not go back again for the food. Edit: I read it was supposed to be a little bit burnt to add to the crispness. But still not my cup of tea, so if u like the wok little bit burnt taste, then maybe this is for you.
